I'd love to hear them cover "Beast of burden"

Four cover songs (KOHD, LALD, The Seeker, New Rose) should be more than enough.

Doesn't make any sense doing that many covers.
They have enough of their own to play. We're going to see GNR, not a wedding band. I think it's even kind of cheesy.

I wonder how many times they haven't been played in a full set since the UYI-tour started.

Can't remember anything except that KOHD was left out in Hershey in 1991. And LALD in Rock in Rio shows the same year.

They recorded these songs, it's almost one of their own and I love them. I was talking about adding new covers on this tour when they have so many songs the public has been waiting to hear.
I love The Who, ACDC, Stones etc. but I would easily replace The Seeker for something like Don't Damn Me.

Id really like them to play more obscure GNR stuff like Don't Damn Me or even Shotgun Blues than more covers.

Yup, give us the deep cuts! The "problem" I have with most covers is that I just think most Guns N' Roses songs are better than those other bands. "Spaghetti" covers works because they were recorded/released and I've listened to those songs a lot, I know them and pretty much consider them GNR songs. The Seeker? Don't the like the Who, Riff Raff? I don't like ACDC and so on. There's a reason I'm a GNR fan, you know.  Tongue

While some covers might be better than others, I'd much rather get Out Ta Get Me or Pretty Tied Up than Sway or Back in the USSR.

Exactly how I feel.

No, that is not an ACDC song, that is Stones last time I checked.

Is someone actually expecting GN'R to do a Velvet Revolver or a Snakepit/Slash song?

Weird.

Crash Diet would be cool to hear some day by this lineup, I've always liked the song.

But I guess that's not gonna happen any time soon Cheesy

Tonight, I am really hoping for November Rain, Estranged, and Civil War...should be fairly emotional between the boys...I would think.

Yeah for sure. The Troubadour show was intense, but this kinda sets the full stage.

It's a full show, in front of a legit full crowd etc...

So kickass. Can't wait to see what they play. Really wanting a 10 song UYI setlist, maybe 12.
