I would give literally anything to have a pro bootleg of this show.

this guy...

And to Fernando, Team Brazil and everyone who made this possible: BIG THANKS AND MUCH RESPECT! One of the best marketing we could have possibly dreamed of! The band gets tones of praises but I just want to stop for a moment and say THANK YOU to the people who made all this possible, so Fernando, Beta, whoever else worked on this and I don't know, THANK YOU!

Looking forward to Vegas, will be at the show on the 9th, my birthday is on the 8th, flying in 8th in the morning, I'm indeed living the dream. THANK YOU!
Happy birthday! mine is the 8th too! enjoy the show to the max!!! beer on me!

Yeah, not really against the idea as I know how a pain in the ass is to have thousands of people paying a lot to see a concert through their screens (even worse when they don't use landscape mode hihi). Also bad is people judging an entire performance from baddly recordings YouTube videos.

From what I saw, the Yondr magnetic bag would work in small venues like Troubador. Not sure about the new Vegas venue, tho. It doesn't lock the phone or block the mobile network itself, but you have to leave the restricted area to unlock the bag and use the phone. Clever stuff.

Mick Jagger said las month on an interview that people in S?o Paulo like watching the show through their cell phone screens....here in Brazil it seems to be even worse that anywhere else i suppose...

I like the idea of the locked cell phone, but the wait for gnr to hit the stage without the phone sounds excruciating.

You can have some beers, walk around the venue, chat with other fans or simply wait!  Grin
We are addicted to communication nowadays...20 years ago people didnt have cell phones and everybody survived! Its a matter of habit.

-before the slide solo in Rocket Queen Slash did an extended talkbox solo, when he finished it Axl had a huge smile on his face and looked at us and said "you missed that, didnt you?"

-Godfather Theme was awesome! Before he started it Axl said "Heres a man that needs no introduction, but gets one anyways. Ladies and Gentlemen, Slash."

-Seeing Slash play the Sweet Child solo right up front and him and Axl doing that outro right next to each other was just insane.

That's awesome.  Kinda refutes the earlier claim that Slash and Axl didn't interact much onstage.  Of course, the "Sweet Child" closeness was caught on camera and is floating around.

In that footage, you can clearly see Axl put his arm on Slash's shoulder.   Cool

Yeah, I remember that. Its maybe worse here, but Im sure it's a problem all over the world.

The cell phone would stay with you. And if you really need it, you can go outside the restricted area and use it. I know, not ideal, but at least there is a way.

I think some of you are misunderstanding the whole no cell phone policy. It was done for the Troubadour show because the show was essentially a rehearsal and the band wanted to keep the sound, pics and overall mystique of Axl and Slash as limited as possible until Vegas. There is 0 chance that this policy will be in place for Vegas or any other stadium show.

Also, it was back to where they started. Back when they started, people were watching the show, not a screen on their phones.... Wink
