And to Fernando, Team Brazil and everyone who made this possible: BIG THANKS AND MUCH RESPECT! One of the best marketing we could have possibly dreamed of! The band gets tones of praises but I just want to stop for a moment and say THANK YOU to the people who made all this possible, so Fernando, Beta, whoever else worked on this and I don't know, THANK YOU!

Looking forward to Vegas, will be at the show on the 9th, my birthday is on the 8th, flying in 8th in the morning, I'm indeed living the dream. THANK YOU!

I wanna hear that new take on Better. I always hated the intro. Nails on chalkboard bad that riff, so wanna hear whatever they did differently.
Also amazing hearing GNR without all the tapping and nu metal tone of the CD era. This sounds like GNR. I've watched the clips 100 times already

Name your price Fernando... We can make the exchange at Gillette Stadium in July... I'll take the Troubadour footage and a ticket upgrade (why stop at the video Grin ) for what ever you want.

How big is the Vegas venue? I think the band and Team Brazil will use the same no cell/recordings politics with the magnetic bag in the next gigs.

18,000 for end-stage concerts I believe.

Axl, Duff AND Slash on the same stage? Never thought I'd see the day this would happen again. I guess hell officially froze over. Cheesy Wonder what all the Slash-haters have to say about this?  rofl

I totally support this...its a pain in the ass thousands of cell phones preventing us from fully watching the band on stage during the whole concert...people prefer posting 15s clips on Instagram rather than enjoying the show. I know this rule wont apply to the stadium shows but I would definitely support that. I mean..it will be impossible to control that with big crowds, but a warning listed in the ticket and show entrance would make people think twice and that would help reducing the number of cell phones in the air.

I truly believe this weekend is going to be electric ...

I expect T Mobile arena to just be insane ... Not an empty seat in the house and a lot of people been waiting a real long time to see this for the first time.

With all the good press from the pop up show to boot .... I'm counting down the seconds. The whole town is going to be bursting.

Possibly, I tend to think that they were trying to avoid what was essentially a dress rehearsal hitting the street with first show warts. I know a few artists have been doing this kind of thing (Prince and Chapelle) but I don't see GnR doing it long term. It could work at Vegas, but that's where it would stop. You can't do it at open air shows with the numbers that Coachella and the Stadium shows are going to have. At Gillette for example there is an attached mall that is outside of ticketed security. You can actually eat dinner on a roof deck at a restaurant that overlooks the stadium, you can actually record the screens behind the stage from there... and hear the show clear as a bell. I know someone who took in the AC/DC show there last summer that way.

Toronto show has the typical No Professional camera warning.....that's how Axl has been touring the last 5 years or so.....so I would expect that.
I think the no cell phones and the little footage that did leak was all part of the Mystery of the first show!

Yeah, not really against the idea as I know how a pain in the ass is to have thousands of people paying a lot to see a concert through their screens (even worse when they don't use landscape mode hihi). Also bad is people judging an entire performance from baddly recordings YouTube videos.

From what I saw, the Yondr magnetic bag would work in small venues like Troubador. Not sure about the new Vegas venue, tho. It doesn't lock the phone or block the mobile network itself, but you have to leave the restricted area to unlock the bag and use the phone. Clever stuff.

I don't think this is an "Axl/GN'R thing". Pretty much every event I have ever been to has had this same rule. Not just concerts but also sporting events for example. It's just how it works and I understand the reasoning behind it completely.

This. Absolutely. It's just stupid Tongue

And also, if everything goes well, we may get some proshots/soundboard recording from Coachella, right?

The Slash shows felt so much like a GnR show because of that guitar sound and the way he plays. Only Slash can mess about with these songs and now he's back with Axl every show is gonna be amazing. We're gonna see tons of authentic GnR memories this year. Can't wait
