Perla just posted a picture to instagram that says "sometimes giving someone a second chance is like giving them an extra bullet for their gun because they missed you the first time" then her comment on the picture is "nuff said..."

Perla's comment on the pic 1 hour ago:
Fuck... People please. This has nothing to do with slash or gnr, I am very happy for them. This is just a quote that resonated with me. As with most the ones I post. [...]

Snippet (sound only) of Rocket Queen. Dunno if its real, but Axl sounds great.

Edited to add: the guy replied me. He said thats all he got.

Slash and Axl were keeping their distance from each other during the show. It will be ino erecting to see how things play out durine the tour. I was really surprised to hear them play the songs off Chinese Democracy and found them to be a total departure from the rest of the set. Completely different style of music that almost didn't fit in. Loved hearing The Seeker as that is one of my favorite Who songs. To be there was completely unreal.

We heard reports they hugged. Any truth in this? Would you say there was tension?

agreed. I mean, why FOUR covers? they have a huge bunch of their own tunes, so why bother with stupid covers confused
Always thought they made KOHD and LALD their own...New Rose wasn't a regularly played song, but it was cool for Duff to get the spotlight for a moment..As for he Seeker, odd choice..I think the last era of GNR played it a few times..As they did Aerosmiths Chip away the Stone...Looks like a good setlist and a great time by all..

Cool to watch Slash and Duff signing autographs.   Cool

And that Axl and Slash hugged after PC Cool

A picture of this would be worth as much as the entire show alone!

Come on, with all that bootlegging of photos and videos, somebody HAD to have captured this moment!

Another (short) review:

https://brianfishbach.com/2016/04/02/guns-n-roses-reunion-at-troubador-april-1/

Intersting insight about the tech company Yondr, who made the magnetic sealed bags to keep the phones from being used. Wonder if they will use this in Vegas (as the bigger shows seems impossible).

I don't know if this has been picked up before, but towards the end of that clip at the left hand side you can very clearly see a guy with a proper film camera (not something you could just sneak in in your pocket!).  Clearly that's been authorised... Something for a tour DVD?

possibly, but remember that Vegas 2001 was also filmed, and nothing came out anyway.

Quote
The set included songs from every GNR era, including the surreal experience of watching Slash play funkier versions of Buckethead and Robin Finck solos on "Chinese Democracy" and "Better."

Nope and I doubt there wil...people on MyGnr are saying that several phones were taken away by security...we wont have much more than snippets imo.

But its less than one week away from Vegas...I hope we have at least 8+ songs and better videos.

Wow his voice on rocket queen is amazing. Also about slash being quiet or whatever imagine being him in that situation and how nervous he was.. And the fact he doesn't want to mess up his playing at all. Give it a few shows and he'll be normal, I bet after the show he was hyped!
