It may well be a good thing that Izzy and Adler weren't there as anything else after this would be an anti-climax.  Personally, I think the best place to see a band is in a small club rather than a stadium, so if it had been the AFD5 last night how could they have ever topped that for the rest of the tour?!

I really hope Adler plays with GnR at some point...  you could see how much the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame performance meant to him, so I'd be really happy for him if he's involved.  I wonder what the story is there?  Maybe we'll all find out over the coming months.

This is absolutely awesome can't wait to hopefully see more pics and possible video. I honestly don't want to hear anyone complain about axls voice especially when trying to listen thru a cell phone and a guy who hasnt sang live in almost 2 years let him get into a regular routine and enjoy this historic moment and upcoming tour like the tour name is nobody expected this "in this lifetime" love it and live it im sitting here at my computer waiting for 10am so i can buy my metlife tickets

Great point!  The band that was there generated enough excitement as is.  So for the Arena shows or Coachella a guest spot will be that much more exciting.

I hope they bring up other people never in GNR as well.  How about Trent Reznor?
