Yeah I know they cancelled it. But 1) They could still have an event that night.  and 2) If there wasn't an event, why are you allowed to purchase these tickets?

They aren't directly connected to the venue or promoter. It would probably take longer before they realize the show is canceled and take it down.

If GN'R are playing there they won't sell the tickets as an Adler show, it will say Guns N Roses.

EDIT: Both www.whiskyagogo.com and www.ticketweb.com (Whisky's official ticket outlet) have taken down the Adler April 1 show.

Ok, but why would the previously scheduled Adler show be selling for that much?

I don't know. The ticket sellers on that site make up their own prices.

Look, I'm not saying GN'R aren't playing or appearing at the Whisky, but the site you linked to is merely just tickets left from the original Adler show.

People who were attending that show have already gotten e-mails saying their tickets for that show will be refunded.

If GN'R are playing (or appearing for something) there, it will be announced, then new tickets will be released for sale.

I get what your saying and not all that hung up on GNR playing that night or not.  Rather, I've moved onto just how much people can try to scam others   no

That's the way of the scalper business I guess.

Unfortunately.

Hollywood Roses is a real band... If it was GN'R undercover I think they would've used a fictional name.

Man, people, including me, are flying from all over the world to be there at the first show with axl and slash. I have to say it would suck if they played a show before that.

I agree

I already changed my flights from Australia to be at the Vegas shows after I'd booked everything for Coachella, so this would kind of piss me off if it happens.

 peace

You do realize that the Whisky holds 500 people and that any sort of G N R releated event there would most likely be a private/invite only for family, friends and maybe some press....meaning that unless you are in G N ' R's inner circle, there is a 99.9% chance you wouldn't be able to get in regardless.
I am sure that Vicki Hamilton will get an invite for sure.
Wait for it.

This was hardly a "big announcement"...

Just a way to create buzz I guess.

Do you trust them that it's REALLY not a cover up for GNR? I don't understand why they would cancel Adler + several other acts in favor of a GNR tribute band.  It seems like an awful idea.  I bought a ticket just incase, now I am debating if I should travel from Indiana to LA for one day just on the off chance it's really GNR in disguise. What would you do?

The Whiskey has been around for decades and is one of the most legendary and respected venues in the world for the type of music we're talking about.  I just don't see them f-ing with fans and putting them through the wringer if something significant isn't happening. What do they have to gain by it?

I seriously can see they are testing the true fans to see who is loyal and clever enough to figure it out. Those who do will be rewarded handsomely with the real GnR!!!

If it was me, I'd go for sure. Worst case scenario, you have a few beers and a laugh at some clown pretending to be Axl Rose!

We really don't know anything at this point.

Steven no-showed at that charity show he was supposed to be at with Slash as well. Could be some reason other than a GN'R-related one that he canceled this show too.
