Acoustic GNR show + announcement at the Whiskey according to someone over at My GNR forum...

If true, than Axl has no qualms about his voice.  Cause there ain't nowhere to hide in an acoustic set.

So, if true, this is encouraging news.

Rather doubt they are playing to an empty room.

Even if its not broadcast, word will get out how it sounded.

It would obviously not be an empty room, but it wouldn't be the first show where nothing surfaces, audio and/or video.

It would probably be all invites and industry type people, not the kind of people I would trust with opinions like 'Axl sounded great man!'

Van Halen played that private gig when they reunited with Dave at that bar in NYC, and crude audio and video surfaced from that. Axl also played some intimate acoustic gigs in the past that were caught by audience members, and he sounded pretty good from what I recall. Unless there's an ultra strict no cameras, no phones policy it'd be hard to keep it completely private.

Axl has done a number of private shows where nothing surfaced.  He even did 2 public shows in Vegas where nothing surfaced.  I'm just saying ...

It's entirely possible. It could be a friends, family, and selected media crowd and they'll all rave about it regardless just for the simple fact that they were included on the exclusive guest list. But who knows if this rumored fantasy show will actually take place.

If there was ever an absolute NEED for a live feed in the history of the world...it would be for this.

Needs and wants are very different things, you may WANT this, but it absolutely  does not qualify as a NEED.

Hope if it happens I'm there, fingers crossed Wink

Even just reports on how they all interacted on stage would be welcome, I think.

That's a re-selling website.

The Adler show was canceled.
