What a fantastic concert!!! Axl and Angus definitely have chemistry. I loved hearing Axl singing Highway to Hell. I think this was always the one song where I would love for GNR to cover. It was LOUD! I had to take a break a few times as a result. The only thing is that for the beginning of Let There Be Rock, Axl's voice seemed to be going a bit. He recovered later on in the song, but there were a few cracks in the beginning. Otherwise great concert!
The only other negative was that I was sitting next to these two drunk 50 somethings. They didn't realize that one of them was in my seat. I had my ticket in my hand and showed them. The guy was so drunk that he couldn't unfold the ticket, which his seat was a few away. Other than that great concert!

Nobody could possibly have made all of this up two years ago. You would get laughed right off the internet.
I have now had the privilege of seeing GNR three times this year and last night's Axl/DC show... It's really been an experience...
I still watch clips of this run... and shake my head and wipe my eyes...it really happened! That's really Slash and Duff on that stage!
Really excited for guns to hit the stage again and see the crowds in S.A and Australia go bezerk.

Our new arena just opened the other day, here in Edmonton and it terrific. I would love to see guns play there next year! |

Great show last night. Axl sounded great. It's definitely a different experience seeing Axl with another band. He seemed way more laid back and chill. I told someone last night that he's a maniac on stage with GNR. IMO it's really worth seeing them if you're an Axl fan.
