I don't see reasons to be pesimistic. Axl himself said he has a vocal coach. Besides there is too much a stake in this U.S. Tour. Axl is human. Slash is human. So it is possible that not every single show is gonna be 120% perfect. But nobody should be worried about a 2012 Axl making a come back

I've never been in the camp that some of his iffy vocal performances the past few years were because he didn't care.  That makes little sense to me.

I've certainly never been in the camp that any iffy vocal performances the past few years were somehow intentional.  That makes zero sense to me.

But he sounds as good now as he sounded in 10 years.  So, what's the reason?  Dunno.  Maybe its the vocal coach.  Maybe its him just raising his game performing with one of his heroes.  Don't know the reason.

Do know that the reason is not just "magic".

He sounds amazing this year.  If this became the new normal, that would be fantastic.

You really have a gift for putting a negative spin on some of the most epic performances in rock history.

With all due respect, Annie...go sell that up the pike.

I am all over this thread saying how amazing he sounds.  You choosing to pick the 1 comment out of 10 that you don't like and try painting that as "classic me" doesn't really pass the smell test.

Holy shit, what a show last night.

Stadium seemed packed. Which might explain the clusterfuck of getting into and out of the venue. They're probably not used to that many people there at once.

Touch too much was like the cherry on top. Just amazing show.

Has anyone found a decent bootleg of the Manchester show? I'm desperate for an official release of one of these shows, but in the meantime, second best!

Saying I HOPE he can keep it up is hardly supportive. just my .02

Yes, the videos that I have seen are amazing.
The same thing happened with the Paul McCartney show in Milwaukee. They ran out of parking cuz of all the seats on the field.

I think, beginning to end, the best sounding boot is Belguim.

Anyone have a better one?

You could see him going for some of his signature spin moves and poses, even in the boot.

Maybe I'll go for that then- do you know where to get it safely?

Yeah he does his signature stuff- all the moves were there! He definitely takes his role as 'just the singer' though. Doesn't talk much, just gets on with it.

Exactly I think he is adding as much personality as he can. AC/DC shows are typically a very scripted almost times to the second performance. I've seen AC/DC about a dozen times, and I've seen much more out of axl across this tour than I have from Brian in years.

I got it here.  estebanf's stuff is all legit.

I grabbed the FLAC and converted it to WAV for my iPod.
