I'm one lucky bitch!  Grin  I saw Slash and Duff when they left. It was right before Highway To Hell. I was on the far left side of the stage. Then I saw the security moving things around. Next thing I know they were taking Slash and Duff out of the Stadium. They passed by very close to me so I saw them perfectly clear.

The show was fuckin amazing. I saw the 91 Axl again  beer

AC/DC's Brian Johnson Gives Positive Update on Hearing Loss
"I was ... able to hear music again like I haven't heard for several years now," singer says of new in-ear technology

By Daniel Kreps June 3, 2016

AC/DC singer Brian Johnson has issued an optimistic statement on the hearing issues that threatened to end his career in rock.

AC/DC singer Brian Johnson, whose hearing issues forced him to leave during the band's Rock or Bust tour, has issued a statement on his treatment. Johnson met with Stephen Ambrose, an in-ear technology specialist, and is hopeful that his work will improve his hearing loss.

"It works," Johnson said of Ambrose's ADEL hearing technology in an authorized statement. "It just totally works and you can't argue with that. I was really moved and amazed to be able to hear music again like I haven't heard for several years now. I can't wait for it to be miniaturized so I can use it in every situation from normal communication, going out to noisy restaurants, [and] performing live music onstage."

After Johnson revealed that hearing issues threatened to leave him with "total hearing loss," Ambrose reached out to Johnson via YouTube. Ambrose, the creator of the wireless in-ear monitor first popularized in the Seventies, discovered that his invention could cause permanent damage to hearing. As a means to improve his product, Ambrose worked with scientists on an improved in-ear monitor that acted like a second, synthetic eardrum that "absorbs only the harmful sound pressures."

"Brian, I introduced Guns N' Roses to in-ear monitors in 1990 and I'm a big fan of Axl Rose's voice, but let's be clear: I'm with Roger Daltrey on this, I really can't imagine anyone but you singing 'Back in Black,'" Ambrose said in the video.

Johnson's latest statement is decidedly more optimistic than he was just a month earlier in a Sirius XM interview, when the singer said his touring days were over: "I had so many good times with the boys," Johnson said. "And I've had such a lucky and great life. And I'm just thankful really that I came out of it in one piece. Now I guess I could rest me socks off."

Yeah that's awesome they went to show their support for him filling in for Brian. Would've loved to see them play a song though.

Maybe they are there for GNR to do a surprise club gig, since they have 5 days off between the next AC/DC show and less than 3 weeks before the US Tour.

Looked like another amazing show and Axl sounded great. Delighted Slash and Duff got to witness it. I hope this experience carries this positivity forward in the GnR shows

I was at the show last night... amazing.  Axl is totally on form right now and, as ever, the whole band played brilliantly.  I think the crowd especially appreciated the Bon songs that have been added to the set.  I certainly can't think of anyone apart from Axl who can deliver the goods from both the Bon and Brian eras.

It was also the loudest big gig I've been to in a while... it was a 'good' full range kind of loud though!  beer  That's the third time I've seen ACDC and they were by far loudest last night.  I always had the impression that DC are louder with Chris Slade on drums, and I think last night proved it.

Off topic: as Slash and Duff are in the UK, do you think they will be at Download on Friday for their friend Lemmy's tribute?  Also, Axl has that day off before his ACDC gig in Denmark.  hmmmmm....
