I Believe,,, Why:

Axl is Fan Of AC/DC, Have Time In May, Friends Whit Band, Legends, Amazing Register Vocal
Absolutely! Perfect points that Axl himself has made!

Perhaps they also knew that this would be an orgy of rock n roll royalty and a good fucking time and that their die hard fans shouldn't whine like little bitches, since it wasn't a permanent replacement, and just enjoy rock history in the making. Sit back and have fun while it lasts. A high octane AC/DC GNR hybrid for a few shows-- nothing more than that.
I guess for some die hard AC/DC fans, though, Axl isn't the legend and rock God that many others think  (know) he is, so they don't see this as a rock legends hybrid.

Damnit, all this would be so much cooler if Axl would take off his fedora and wear his Bob Seger baseball cap (the one he wore in the WTJ video at the bus station) over his red bandana.

Come on Axl, black T shirt and a ball cap-- it would better match his more muscular look, too. The flashier, glamish rock n roll look he has going right now doesn't match his thicker, more muscular look.
He needs to go for the gritty, blue collar, stripped down rock n roll singer look.

The password works.  And yes, just copy the whole thing.

They ask for the password once you go to extract.

Thanks!! Just did that  Smiley

Yes, the absence of that shitty baseball cap that is probably long gone completely ruined the show. So much more less cool.

And i also like the 2 day rest between shows. Tours should be like that. Enough time for Axl to rest his body and voice.

He sounded great but, like with GNR, I doubt his voice will be able to stay this good through the tour.
As johnreed3344 pointed out, Axl's voice has always tended to get stronger as he goes.

Since when and on what planet? Sorry but you people are delusional, somebody even said he'll sound more raspy after AC/DC. Have any of you ever tried to sing at all? Raspyness ruins your voice and the more you use it, the more you lose it. And this has been proven true with Axl time and time again. Did he sound better or worse in 2014 than 2010? 1993 vs 1991?

Also, anyone calling AC/DC's vocals simple and easy has no clue what they're talking about. I would LOVE to see any of you try and sing What Do You Do For Money Honey or Let Me Put My Love Into You. Axl himself said that he knows he cannot compare with Brian's legendary performance on Back in Black. Brian Johnson screamed like a fucking banshee on that record. I will say Axl is doing an incredible job at it though, and only a true professional like him could ever come that close. Hells Bells is sounding nearly as good as the original recording. A quick look at any AC/DC cover band proves that they are not in any way easy songs to replicate. Although I can't say I'm surprised average Joe non-singers would be so reductive of artists they don't appreciate, even if their hero considers that artist a hero of his...

What a night...what a concert! An amazing experience.

Axl sounded better than any GNR concerts I have been post 1993. He hit each and every single note. I've been to many GNR shows in the 2000's and seen thousand videos on youtube and I can assure I had not heard Axl sounded this well since 1993. It was unreal.

Stadium was packed. 70,000 screaming fans. Crowd was so into the band. At the beginning I heard some negative comments towards Axl, but as the show went on, those comments disappeared. Axl gave it all. He's definitely pushing himself to deliver an incredible show, as he always has, but this time since his own band is not on the line, it seems to me that he's trying harder to deliver. He looks so happy, so involved.

He obviously sat down the entire show, but during Riff Raff, Whole Lotta Rossie... he was dancing and moving so much I thought he was going to stand up! He was having a blast.

He interacted with the crowd. Right at the beginning of the show he said "Hola ESPA?A!!".  Before "shook me all night long" - he said: you may know this next song, sold a few copies when it was released"... Also before whole lotta rossie he said the moment he heard that song, he was hooked to AC/DC since then. Then before back in black he said "this song is quite popular...you may have heard it before..."  He did say many more things but I can't remember it all...

Show lasted 2 hours and 15 mins. The crowd absolutely loved. I've been reading some great reviews this morning from Spain's largest newspaper http://cultura.elpais.com/cultura/2016/05/10/actualidad/1462903824_161785.html

There are also great reviews in ACDC's facebook page. Seems people expected Axl either be late or under-deliver but in the end they were blown away.

If you are a GNR fan, go see Axl with ACDC. You'll be blown away, I guarantee it. I was lucky to buy tickets for half the price so it was totally worth it despite arriving home at 4 am (3 hour drive) and a few hours of sleep!

Can't wait to see GNR this summer in the US (hopefully)!

And the news article in English

One might guess by the video introduction to the concert - a mix of Manga and The Martian done by sophomores some animation- school, the future, as a universal concept, is a place where AC / DC should not even be raised. But surely, the band will be. For them, 2016 is the future. The furthest. Remember when we dreamed that in the twenty - first century would eat only colorful pills and teletransportar?amos us? As 2016 is the year in which we still hear Shoot to thrill and excited us. And sung as has never been done because Axl Rose nailed every note and adds a plus of dangerousness that many years ago Australians, turned into family band, lost. And that in a staging that gets weighed down by his foot injury keeps him confined to a kind of throne . But the effect, with all nestled in the backyard of the stage and surrounded him in the center band again and again by Angus Young seems that at any time will urinate around Axl to mark their territory, in her school uniform It ends proving more elaborate and striking than any diva who has spent millions in costumes, dancers and things that make bum.

This is scary. It is the future and there are only singer of Guns N 'Roses and an Australian schoolboy sesent?n dress playing the guitar as if instead of an instrument out his instrument. JG Ballard proud of this dystopia. If we go to hell, we go singing Back is black from a throne after spending half a dozen times by the beauty clinic. Acting with AC / DC gives meaning to all attempts by the leader of Guns N 'Roses for stretching. It is contradictory, but it is also that, when you seemed about to collapse because circumstances forced him to make a decision, the more conservative side of the planet has found a way forward in which only a month ago seemed a desperate attempt to continue to operate the cash register.

AC / DC may be the rock band with the most loyal and devoted audience. They give everything, and Angus Young have given everything, since the early seventies. But this time the thing twisted. The new phase of his umpteenth world tour ( Rock or burst ) came hampered by the known absence of Phil Rudd, drummer, -estuvo legal problem with house arrest, Malcolm, rhythm guitarist, composer, brother of Angus and who he is and was the true factotum of the band had to get the car in 2014 for senile dementia. All this, in such a compact as this team were drawbacks were overcome with proper dose of sadness, but always with the understanding of some fans who have accepted authors Highway to hell as part of their family. Sometimes even more.

The real problem came when just a couple of months, Brian Johnson, the second vocalist in the history of the band ago - replaced Bon Scott in 1980 after it become unavailable for having deceased- warned about the danger he ran his deafness to become full. He had to cancel his appearance on the tour. So, Axl Rose, the elusive singer of Guns N 'Roses, volunteered for the job. They gave it . To celebrate, a toe was broken. And then they gave the throne with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, former Nirvana) had acted when injured. They took ornaments to suit the Spartan vocation of the band and last May 7 took the stage in Lisbon for the first time. It could have been the greatest disaster in the history of rock. But it went well. They knew that would be fine, they would otherwise not invited to the British press, as they did, in order to preserve the tickets already purchased for dates on the islands.

And when sounds Thunderstruck thing looks like it was meant to be: an irresistible puppet show with all the tics of a brand taken to the extreme but accepted, not so much for comfort, familiarity and accumulation, as an unexpected capacity, without even trying, revive a formula that before Brian Johnson, seemed untenable and, after him, seems infallible. With any other band, it could be said that the end of the concert is the time to string together hits ( Whole Lotta Rosie, Let there be rock ...), but AC / DC have so many memorable themes, almost touching the end pales next to You Shook me all night long or Shot down in flames , that sounded 20 minutes before. In presenting the latter, Axl Rose made the same joke in Lisbon, a jest respect of the subject of the issue: the failure with beautiful women. "The story of my life , " he repeated, standing up, fully integrated into the machine making things do not stop work that is AC / DC. When Axl can move, as it loses charm, but the issue here is that the Australians were able to move. Just enough to not disturb their fans at least, to those who have not returned tickets- and ensure that those who began to see his choreography from a distance, come to see what happens out there. Songs are forever, but if you look and listen carefully, sung and played as ever. For once.

Axl is doing some amazing reclamation work on his much beleaguered rep with these shows.

It's great to see people say how wrong they were and how solid he was, after their knee jerk reaction was to shit on the move when it was announced.

So you show up on time, act professional, and give the vocals your all...and people laud you.  Who knew?

Disagree. Axl's voice is original and he does gain strength on each tour.

I tend to agree.  Most tours, he seems to get better as he "plays his way into shape" as they say.

But this time, it seems like he's actually prepared from the jump.  Seems to be taking things more seriously this year, on both tours.

It's great to see as a fan.e
