Axl just really really absolutely did justice to this . It feels so fucking good, seeing all this happening , GNR , AXL/DC, its like I've died and gone to heaven!!! It's so refreshing to finally see fans , music lovers journalist, and dare I say even Axl haters heaping such praise on the man. SOOO long and well deserved.

wow, the public perception of axl really seems to be shifting rapidly. what a crazy year, and its not even halfway over yet. i'm happy with what we've got.

with that said, imagine if a new hit album came along. with that he might even outdo the fame he had back in the day. if thats possible, i dont actually know. just spitballing (hope im using that term right.)

He nor the band will ever reach the level of fame they had back in the day.

But, what's great about this year could be a shift in public perception of Axl.  From "Axl Rose, pretty much a dick" to "Axl Rose, reliable rock legend."

Which is awesome.

Well, it's not going to happen overnight.  He gave the world a wealth of ammunition for years.

But, end of this year, after this and a good tour of his own...never know.

When was the last time he was late on stage? Unless I've missed something it was years ago and people still talk about it. Even now articles read that this could go all wrong as AC/DC really cares about their fans but Axl doesn't.

Surely, the switch in perception could happen but unfortunately it might need more than a couple dozens perfect shows.

Sounds great, would live a best of or new material with Axl singing! Only problem, one of my draws to GNR were Axl's voices and the shift is musical style, where with AC/DC you pretty much get be Axl voice..But it still sounds great, and if they come to NY I will try to go......
