Errr, I don't buy it for second. They need him A LOT more than he needs them, any day of the week.

Haha, it seems to be the very definition of irony, doesn't it?  Welp, at least we know he's not opposed to the idea of appearing in promos!!  beer

I thought all you guys said that once Slash and Duff come back everything will change? Pictures, interviews, new music, videos....Axl would be "inspired". Looks to me like just another lineup change and another tour for Guns.  Roll Eyes

A real kick in the balls would be if Axl releases a new song with AC/DC before he releases a new song with Gnr. hihi

Here's the exact text.

"-----------------------------------
AC/DC's people are taking no chances
with Axl Rose. His contract has the
iron-clad stipulation that he won't
see a penny until the tour is over.

Find it hard to believe Axl is doing this for the pay cheque  - whatever the contract supposedly says.

Can't wait to here him sing shot down in flames or girls got rhythm. Fuck that new ACDC stuff.

True.

But...a better line-up and a better tour.  So it's not like it's all bad.

I know we are taking great pains to avoid admitting it out loud, but this tour really does seem its just about the bucks.

I, personally, give no fucks.  If the time on stage is the only time they spend together, so what?  So long as they deliver on that stage, that's all you are owed as a consumer.

Honestly, I always rolled my eyes at the people so terribly concerned with the fact they become friends again.  Some even went as far as to say they cared about that, even if they never performed together again.

How fucking backwards is that?

Of course the guy has signed a contract. What are Axl's duties according to the contract? I don't know and I don't care. There is one picture with the band. Is it such big deal? They are on tour, GN'R is not. It is possible that band pics and interviews could take place once the GN'R U.S. Tour begins next month. I know they didn't do any pics/interviews for Vegas and Coachella shows. I don't rule out pics/interviews with GN'R in the near future, at least not yet.

It's cool there's a pic with AC/DC....but I think us GnR fans are in for a treat after this tour with AC/DC is done. I'm pretty sure they're holding out with the GnR stuff to not get in the way of the AC/DC stuff. Also, they don't need it yet to promote the stadium tour since that's selling pretty well on its own. I guess we'll see a lot more after this first run with AC/DC in Europe is done  peace

What makes you think that Axl will even be recording with AC/DC?

Axl Rose says AC/DC shows will be ?respectful?
http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-36203834

"I'm happy and excited in one sense, but I think it would be inappropriate to be celebrating, in a certain way, at someone else's expense," he said.

"That's not what I'm here to do. It's an unfortunate situation."

--

"I called the day I read about it in the news, that there was a situation going on with Brian's hearing," he said.

"I called a guy who's their production manager right now... because I knew there was going to be a problem with having dates on sale and dates sold and stuff like that. So if I could help, and if I was able to do it, and they were interested, I'd love to help. And that's how it started.

"I wasn't looking at it like, 'I'm singing for AC/DC.' I was looking at it like, 'y'know, if I can, and if they think I'm able to do it."

Rose also said he didn't know whether he would be able to sing some of the songs in the set.

"A lot of the Back In Black stuff is really challenging. I'm not here in any way out of any disrespect to Brian. I can't take anything away from his singing at all," he said.

"He's a great singer and it's really challenging to sing it. I'm just trying to do it justice for the fans."

You can hear Matt Everitt's full interview with Axl Rose on the BBC 6 Music Breakfast show from 07:00 BST on Friday, 6 May.

Can't wait to hear the new interview!

Probably AC/DC exclusively though, although it wouldn't be unnatural to ask about the reunion with Slash.

But there is like, a week in between both tours.

If the stuff you were suggesting was in the plans, don't you figure it would have been in May?
