Axl sounding like this... Wonder what the reviews will say.

For some AC/DC fans I can understand it's a matter of principle, but for those who can manage to enjoy it for what it is, I think they will have a blast at these shows.

sounds great  ok

very clever from AC/DC management to let these clips leaks, it gives an idea to the fans
what it will sounds like, can change a lot of people minds about going to the gigs.

I'd hope to see a DVD release of this, be unusual to do it. It could be a bonus disc on an ACDC tour DVD but I'd buy it just to see and hear Axl. I'd buy these shows live recordings. It's like a new album we're gonna hear

I'm all about getting a bootleg, but that is likely as good as we are going to do.

Angus is getting absolutely savaged by his own fans over all of this.  Its like Axl & GNR fans, circa 2002.

I have to think he only compounds the problem making anything with Axl an official release and trying to make money off it.

Even the AC/DC fans that don't want to string him up are basically just accepting Axl is helping them out of a jam.  But even the ones giving him the benefit of the doubt would balk at an official release, I should think.

Yea I suppose you're right in a way but their record company might not be overly concerned about that. A bonus DVD feat Axl would still boost sales

I'm all for a DVD of these shows. But I want something official. What are the odds?

I think a stream with a download option (like the Metallica concert from the Super Bowl week in San Fran) might be more likely than a BluRay/DVD release from the label.

This is a clearer version of Thunderstruck, Hell Ain't a Bad Place To Be, Back in Black, and Hells Bells.

How should Axl dress during the shows?
I'm thinking he has to go with a stripped down blue collar look and make no costume changes. Wear a pair of jeans and a simple black, sleaveless T shirt and an AC/DC ball cap over his trademark bandana. He should do as much as possible to minimize his Axl persona and empty himself. Just get up there and just let his vocals rip. Don't imitate Brian Johnson's exact stage look, but don't look too GNR either.

However, if he decides to do his Axl Rose showmanship while projecting a simpler style/look, then what we will get is literally an AC/DC Guns N Roses hybrid-- an entirely new animal altogether. Which as never the goal of this, the goal was to invite a "guest singer" to help finish a tour. So perhaps it is acceptable that Axl is just himself and does all of his Axl style and showmanship.

What?! Axl is who he is. I'm sure he'll dress how he always does. He's not gonna dress up
As Brian.

He'll do it his way as always.

I know the quality wont help but it sounds to me that he is putting much more effort in these songs than in GNRs...i mean...the way he is singin Thunderstruck, Perfect Crime would be piece of cake for him...

What's the problem? We know that it will come. It was already listed, which means it has been rehearsed.
