A lot of the comments seem to range from "they should retire" to "they should've gotten _______ (mostly unknown singer) instead".

Whatever the opinion, you can't deny that Axl's a legendary singer up there with the best of all time.
So, if you think AC/DC should've canceled the gigs, then the other side of the coin is "But you'll get to witness something special instead".....

In My World, Axl Rose is THE Greatest Singer of ALL TIME!

I would go see him front Maroon 5......

AC/DC fans should appreciate Axl stepping up. Do they have a better suggestion?

I guess I'll have my choice of seats when they reschedule the postponed US dates.

I hope so too, as I would love to witness this in person.  I think some of us will definitely be able to get tickets, but I don't believe most of these people who say they are going to return their tickets will actually do it.  They love to talk all big on the internet, but they'll be at the shows.

EXACTLY! A friend of mine said the same thing... I told him give me your tix, he stuttered hahahhah. Def gonna try to go to MSG whenever they announce the date. Will be my first AC/DC show. Altho I did see a cover at the Boston Hard Rock Cafe last year... With a GNR tribute band opening. How ironic lol

I have my ticket - I will see Axl/DC in 3 weeks.
I will enjoy that once in a lifetime show - as much as I can!
And yes - I have seen AC 2 times before...😜

While I'm SUPER excited about Slash, Duff, and Axl playing together again, I'm just as stoked about this given it's likely to be a one-time only thing. I don't know.... if I had a choice I might choose the AC/DC thing over GN'R right now. I can't afford either, but that's another issue. BTW, anyone ever have luck sneaking into a show these days? haha!

Listening to a live performance I have of "Whole Lotta Rosie" from 87/88 by GN'R on vinyl. Man, it sounds SO good with Axl on vocals. He should have probably always been AC/DC's singer switching between GN'R and AC/DC all along. He's totally a Bon Scott meets Brian Johnson. Amazing stuff.

That's funny!  And, regrettably, I have to admit that I would probably go see that, too.

Awesome!  Great find.

Will definitely be looking to get a decent audio bootleg of one of these shows.

OMG if this is real, then his voice is absolutely unbelievable! Why does he sing SCOM and YCBM the way he does when he can do this!?

Do you guys think people would go as far as to go to these shows and boo Angus?

Sounds stupid, I know.  But we live in a world where people were buying GNR tickets to hold up "Where's Slash?" signs.

Last thing we need is some asshat pelting Axl with something from the crowd.  We know how that's going to go.

Yes it is stupid.  Why do you always focus on negative shit?

I don't think this is negative - I think it's entirely possible and very likely that a few fans will want to wind axl up. Given his reputation and the fact the Acdc fans aren't exactly over the moon about this, some will see this as good sport without doubt and see what impact they can have.
