Update with a pic of the cover:

Guns N? Roses are the cover stars of issue 221 of Classic Rock magazine ? out on Wednesday, February 24, in print, digital and TeamRock+.

http://www.teamrock.com/news/2016-02-22/slash-in-studio-for-guns-n-roses

No word on what piece will be in the magazine. Maybe the article posted earlier?

EDIT: Looking into it, it seems to be the "The Real Story Behind Their Return" piece.

Wonder what picture will be used for the, most likely not a new one I guess.

Edited by jarmo: Changed the subject. It's a black & white photo of Axl on the cover. /jarmo

Maybe they could use photos of all the people they interviewed that aren't connected with the band anymore  hihi

The alternative is no press.

Personally I think it's pretty cool that GN'R is written about all over now.

Yes, the quality of the articles varies, but the name is constantly being put out there.. It helps if you plan on embarking on a massive stadium tour.

I'm confident that GNR is cognizant of the current media climate, and there will be more official information released when it is ready to be announced.

Of course.

But as a fan, isn't it a positive feeling to see GN'R considered as relevant?

If the announcement came in early January, and after that no one wrote a thing about them, they weren't mentioned at all. Wouldn't that be kind of discouraging?

I suppose it is to be expected- the media quality being what it is- ie: parasitic.

I personally get tired of reading total BS articles specifically geared to propel the news site or person interviewed into the wave  generated by the GNR regrouping.

I've got it. It's an old B&W topless Axl shot. The article is the one posted earlier on this board "Guns N' Roses: The Real Story Behind Their Return"

Edit - As above!

Yeah they weren't really relevant because Axl didn't put together a consistent lineup that peopel could identify with.

You had Bumblefoot, Buckethead, Finck and Ashba mostly through the years trying to fill 1 need

SLASH

I'm glad Slash makes them relevant now. Awesome stuff!

He's the front man of course he's on the cover. I was responding to the comment above me that they were glad Guns N' Roses are now relevant again...

Which is because Duff and Slash back...

So yeah.. my comment holds water.

nice try though
