In times of lousy journalism and incorrect facts, I found this article very refreshing. People who haven't followed or paid attention to what has been going on with GN'R in the past month and years should give this a read.

I won't copy the whole thing here, it's 10 pages, just click "next".

extremely well written. maybe he could've also included a word or two about Buckethead era, but I guess it's not relevant anyway Smiley

Well written.Just a review of all the facts we kind of already know, but like an old Greek saying "Repetition is the mother of knowledge".

Still rife with speculation though, really.

The big questions we all have, (will CD material be played, does Axl even know where the rehearsal site is, etc) this doesn't really provide anything but this guy's hunch.

Still, with the little information we know are out there, he seems to be as well read up on the subjects as we demand here on the boards.

It's speculation in there yes, but "more informed speculation" than what we're used to seeing.

As much as i would love to hear from Axl and Co. I actually think its been really well played on their part by not doing any media to this point. Look at all the attention it is getting everyone is wanting to know whos in whos out, whats going to be played live, new music potential.  Believe me when i say i am dying to hear something from the guys but just think whether they do any media before the first show when they do hit that stage the explosion of emotions and feelings for the fans to see this happening all the lack of media will go right out the window because they are playing.

Now if we can just get to April already lol  ok

When are the Grammys?

Somebody needs to grab Duff over there and force him to spill.

My guess is the only things we will hear before they play are other shows that get announced. you will get the tweet or facebook posting maybe in the meantime but no 1 on 1 interviews

By Chatty you mean interviews, conferences and all that ? I'd say that Axl should be chatty on stage.giving us 20 ranty minutes.like in the old days.

Wow, I hope not.

He hasn't been ranting on stage in years.  He starts that back up once these guys come back?  That's going to be a bad look.

I would kill for him to make light of the feud and have some fun with it, but that's probably a longshot.

How did I not know this?  --- In the late 90s, he [Steven Adler] turned up in the band BulletBoys with future GN?R guitarist DJ Ashba.
That's pretty funny.

Yes, Sting.

Really?  I mean, last I heard, he was recovering from neck surgery and would probably never be able to get in the ring again.  And after that cluster fuck at Wrestlemania...

Oh, wait...you mean the other guy.  The guy who was a member of the Police...yeah...never mind.

Oh, I've been making that joke for over 10 years.

When someone tells me how amazing Steven is, I ask then how come his most high profile gig since leaving GNR was being with the Bulletboys for 20 minutes, a good 10 years after they were relevant?

The wrestler might make more sense.

Playing the odds, I bet more NBA players and fans watched WCW Monday Nitro back in the day than listen to Sting, ever.

I love him, always been a fan.  But he's one odd pick for this gig.

They brought him in because all the NBA players want to learn those tantric tricks.....

I know, but I guess I completely missed that Ashba was in the band.  Just did a quick google search looking for a picture of them together, but no luck.
