I doubt Slash has potential hit-songs laying around, he would've used his best material for each album he's done I think. Maybe riffs or chord progressions he didn't know how to proceed with... |

Izzy is there helping them write new stuff. That is what we hear. Nothing confirmed as stated already.
I want a Use Your Illusion album for sure. They can mix it up and add some CD feel to it. That's fine. I just don't want CD II with Slash and Duff at the helm. That would be fairly disappointing to me.
Use Your Illusion I and II were somewhat experimental with the piano stuff mixed in. It was kinda a surprise ya know? Hard rock with a piano and harmonica that rocked. Loved it.
Bad Obsession meets You Could Be Mine meets Right Next Door to Hell meets November Rain
that style of music is what I would personally love to hear.

It's completely possible that Axl, Slash and Duff were greatly inspired once they became a band again, thus creating new stuff out of the blue. It can happen when you're in an environment with a high level of energy and passion. |
