Where is the Lancaster, PA, Clipper Magazine Stadium rumor coming from?

It's a minor league baseball stadium not far from me. Seems like an odd choice to play. I'm certainly not complaining, just doesn't seem legitimate.

NICE!!!

Thanks Spirit!!!!!

I believe there will be a local central Pa show but anyone who believes they are actually playing anywhere in Lancaster,Pa is crazy!  It's a very residential area where locals even complain about fireworks after the baseball games.  Just go there and listen to all the dogs barking.  Very few concerts have been held there because of the downtown location.  But there would probably be thousands of fans would come from Lancaster, York,Harrisburg area for any local GN'R show.  It would make sense to advertise on regional digital billboards and create a buzz in those "city" areas rather than Hershey,Pa where there is nothing but cows and horses, but may be where the concert ends up!  I'm still thinking HersheyPark Stadium(30K)..summer season which runs into about the middle of September at the latest.

I'm not familiar with the area, so you may very well be right about this.

There have been rock shows here before though, Dylan, Bryan Adams and Def Leppard is listed on wikipedia.

Curfew is 11pm according to their website.

Hershey does make more sense than Lancaster.

New rumour : 24 years after their last visit, GNR will return to the Festival Park in Werchter, Belgium (site of the Axl/DC show in May) on Friday June 9th 2017.

This is not part of the Werchter Festival, but a standalone show at the same site, kinda like the recent Springsteen and Axl/DC shows there.

Source : Gazet Van Antwerpen (big national newspaper).

New rumors added. Also, Lancaster changed to Hershey based on what the locals have been saying.

If all these rumored dates are stadiums... 2017 could very well be their biggest year yet!

Asia/Oceania - full stadium tour
Europe - full stadium tour
North America - full stadium tour

We could be looking at 50-60 stadium shows for 2017 alone.

Things are far from normal in the uk at the moment- the country is falling apart around our feet at the moment! If I didn't live here I'd stay away! Haha!

Any rumors about other cities in Italy, like Rome or Milano? I'm not Italian but I m planning to visit Italy for the concert since my country probably won't be on the tour. I had heard about San Siro in Milan? Any chance? Roll Eyes

Well i really don't know...Anyway Imola autodrome is way bigger than any stadium so maybe they'll do just 1 date instead of 2 (Milan and Rome) but we'll see.  I'll give u some suggestion about what to visit depending on which city they'll play if u want Grin
