Yeah, actually, I do. It's not worth explaining why. It would sound absurd.
That's why I initially made the joke that I'll be "that" guy and ask the question.
(Oh and on a side note, no I'm not going out to buy a pair. LOL)

What's absurd is that I'm actually answering this.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe the designer/brand is Giuseppe Zanotti.

Don't know the "style" name he's wearing but they look similar to these (they also have styles made with crocodile and python).

Ha ha, you know what? I do sincerely appreciate your prompt response. As someone who doesn't post all that often and mostly lurks, I do know that you're on top of things and your answers/responses to other more serious topics are dead on, so that's appreciated.

On a side note, I'll take blame when Jarmo bans us both ok

I was watching The Seeker from the first night...Axl should really think twice about wearing those boots. He slips and almost falls onstage. And then he also bumps into Slash.
I vote for the comeback of the Giuseppe Zanotti shoes!

He switches between both during the shows.

As for him slipping, I believe that has more to do with water/liquids being spilled while everyone is trying to stay hydrated onstage plus the sweat pouring off of everyone during the show.  (With Richard's spinning and bouncing around the entire show, he's like a human sprinkler system himself!!!)  As excellent a job that the crew does of wiping the stage constantly during the show, it's impossible to get every spot 100% of the time.

I have a pair of dress boots I wear occasionally with a suit and I slide quite a bit in them. I think the rubber on the sneakers helps prevent that.
I just assumed that after he broke his leg he took to wearing them.
Anyway, those suckers are more than $600. Ha ha. Damn.

Those skyline T-shirts, you posted by the way, are pretty cool.

I know it's very scary when someone you love sustains a serious injury of any kind.  You want to do everything in your power to make sure that no harm ever comes to that person.

I AM POSITIVE that Axl and TB and everyone in the GNR camp take every precaution to keep Axl - and everyone else there - safe and protected on every level.

I AM POSITIVE that Axl does NOT buy his footwear at a discount franchise like Payless shoes and that all the footwear he does use is top quality for the support and health of his feet/ankles/legs and deemed appropriately worn/safe for dancing/running/shimmying onstage and off.

I PROMISE YOU that no one, including Axl, would put him in a situation that might be unsafe or questionable at any time but especially while he is continuing in the healing process from an unfortunate accident.

When will we get some updated numbers on tour attendance and grosses?  Wikipedia page is still rather mum on the matter.

To be honest, I want to brag on our band a little bit.  Had a few people assure me this would not be successful.  I'd like to rub some faces in some numbers.

Billboard releases numbers every Tuesday.

It seems Live Nation have waited till the end of the leg to release the numbers. They released all the numbers for Beyonce's European leg at the same day as well.

I can't believe the US leg is over.

It went as well as anyone could have reasonably hoped for.  Amazing shows, night after night, week after week.  Packed venues, No late starts, no audio issues, no apparent disharmony on stage or off.  Just....WHAT A TOUR.

I'd sign up for a life time of exactly what we got this summer.

This tour...holy fuck what a dream come true it's been.  Stellar setlists (Coma every night?!), insanely good performances from all, Axl at the top of his game in literally every aspect.  Just incredible.  No matter what happens going forward, this was an incredible year for Guns fans and for rock in general.

Happy that the rest of the world is going to get a crack at this monster show now.  Going forward, sky's the limit for GNR.  And hopefully, God willing, new music will follow soon.
