Probably. Difficult to know the demand though, as the tickets look like they haven't even gone on sale to fans- just straight to touts.

But they were sold out at 10- not ten past 10, but bang on the dot, at 10, when they were supposed to be on sale the entire stadium was sold out!

What. On. Earth?! W

A LOT of tickets were sold during the pre-sales. Not sure how many were left when the general sale started.

Yeah these shows are selling really well,  especially considering they are on the pricey side and the band hasn't done any press, interviews, or new music yet.

I think it is just a testament to the tremendous legacy of the band.  The songs stand the test of time, and millions of people still want to hear them.

The last gig this line up played in 93 was a stadium, the first tour they do 23 years later they are still playing stadiums.  It's awesome.

Even more awesome is the fact that this is the first time GN'R is playing stadiums in the US as a stand-alone act.

Their popularity certainly hasn't diminished.

Right now I see potential 2nd dates in Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.

All of these are either sold-out, or very close to sold-out.

Orlando isn't far behind either.

Rumor has it there's a third date on hold for Chicago as well, I guess they'll have to look at the development for the 2nd show first. I can't remember the exact source, but I read on some forum they had heard it said on a radio station in Chicago.

Not surprising about LA at all ...I think we see 3 nights in the bands backyard.

This is so fucking cool.

Heading to 3 GNR Shows in 2010.

« Reply #1074 on: May 02, 2016, 08:56:31 AM »

I live in Nova Scotia and I heard about GnR  possibly playing Magnetic Hill Moncton New Brunswick in September.  We always have huge bands every year.  We had the rolling stones, acdc just to name a couple.  It's an outside venue with a capacity of well over 50000.

That's awesome. So now it's two shows each in the Boston and NYC areas, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Apologies to all those offended by me posting about the success of the tour.  Cheesy

Anybody receive a Nightrain Presale email for the 2nd Los Angeles show yet?

Not yet, but it's the same password I got before. That Nightrain presale is so lame that I wouldn't bother. If you have CitiCard try that one or just the general sale.

Canada needs more love/dates.  I think Toronto was the first to sell out and still no second show?
