He said he has talked to Duff and he said they won't be doing any press for now, but they will in the future and told him when they will be doing it. Eddie also said Duff promised to talk to him first.
So, good news! We will have an interview at some point!!!
About the rumor that there would be anything happening in Vegas, he said it's just one of his apperances, nothing related with GNR.

I'm just so happy for Eddie. Duff is quite the diplomat. Lots of luck getting Axl to talk to ya Eddie. But who am I to take away somebody's dream or delusion.

They will speak to the press in the future - and maybe earlier than we were expecting. That's the point! We will have official info coming from the band. That's it.

Eddie is doing his job, of course he is trying to speak to them (all of them, if possible) exactly like every other journalist. I can't see what's the big issue here.

No. But GNR is a very hot topic right now. And he is desparate for attention. And he somehow feels entltled to be the first interview. He says he will getDuff. Maybe Slash. But I seriously doubt he will get Axl. just my .02.
