There's the rumored GN'R date on the 16th, but it doesn't have to be a conflict there.

I am thinking a Hollywood Vampires show will NOT take precedence of a huge Gnr stadium show.......

Of course not, but Hollywood Vampires said they would schedule their shows around the main projects of their members.

Since they scheduled May 27 at RIR, I can imagine that was done after getting a green light from the GN'R camp.

Which makes me think the May 27 date for GN'R might not be accurate.

Duff isn't (nor is Matt) considered a member of Hollywood Vampires, but rather is a "touring member." If you saw the Grammy performance, Dave Grohl was careful to introduce HV as "joined by Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum."  And their own website reads "The Hollywood Vampires ? Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry ? Announce the First Show of Their 2016 Tour..."

Despite Alice's comment about scheduling, ultimately I'd guess HV's and GNR's schedules have nothing to do with each other.

For the purpose of the upcoming HV shows, HV and GNR's schedules have something to do with each other as HV announced that Duff will be the bass player for the shows coming up.

That could change in the future of course, but as of now Duff is committed to both HV and GN'R.

Someone at mygnr pointed out something I hadn't thought of... Hollywood Vampires are playing Rock In Rio Lisbon the same day as the rumored Dallas date.

That makes May 27 less credible imo.

I am not surprised by this. It still seemed too early for me based on the rumors we already have unless of course there are dates in June we don't know yet.

I'm commenting on my own quote here.

Don't know if it means anything, but Duff hasn't put up the HV dates on his own website, yet the GN'R dates are there.

There's a chance something has changed since HV announced the dates and confirmed Duff as the bassist. Or, Duff just hasn't gotten around to updating his list of events yet.

Minneapolis radio has teased a concert announcement for the new Vikings stadium called U.S. Bank Stadium. It will be a "big announcement from a major rock band, expected soon".

The list of possible bands can't be very long, and GN'R would definitely figure on there.

I have it on good authority that it is going to be Metallica who are opening the stadium.  I'm patiently awaiting that Chicago date.

I'll cross my fingers. I am planning to arrive in Vegas on the 6th so I'll gladly make the 4 hour drive to LA on the 7th if anything materializes.

Yes, like at the end of the 2012 European tour.
But the surprise shows in those cases were often in between two shows, not before...

Plus you have the possibility that there might be gear that needs to be in Las Vegas that day for the shows that weekend....
