I wonder how many hours of radio and live appearances he does between bringing up GN'R. I'm thinking a lot.

He is arguably the biggest hard rock radio personality out there, it would make no sense for him not to keep people updated on the GN'R situation. It is of huge interest to his core audience.

It's not like I'm a huge fan of the guy, but I can't for the life of me understand the crusade some people here are keeping against the guy. The band members are apparently totally cool with him. I love that he's very interested in interviewing them, it would be of great interest to listen to that, well for me anyways.

He has just been speculating about what's going on just as any other journalist is - as we are, as the world is - since we don't have any official info. If he doesn't get to interview Axl, that's his problem, no one cares. Too bad for him.
We get it that you don't like him, but this is not about Eddie, it's about the good news he was reporting! Change your focus, get over it and be happy.

Thanks, I almost assume the Spanish dates are out the window as well.

They were taken from a festival forum from an insider with a good track record, but at this point Europe doesn't seem very likely this summer.

I saw a tweet where someone had heard GN'R is already booked for the Isle Of Wight Festival in 2017. If true, that could mean they're also playing stadiums in Europe next summer.

Although we consider this one unlikely, the Lollapalooza festival will start selling passes tomorrow.

Billboard have sources saying Radiohead, RHCP and LCD Soundsystem will headline. No word on the fourth headliner yet, but the official announcement is expected soon.
