Just like I thought.  Guns is not playing around with any local curfew laws.

It is what it is
Can hardly blame them with the amount of money it would cost them. If it were arenas where there's maybe 20,000 the fine wouldn't be too bad for going over. In a stadium with at least 40,000 in most cases that could be hundreds of thousands or millions. For instance at Gillette the first night is a compete sellout. So probably over 60,000. I did the math and just 5 minutes past would cost them 600,000. 15 minutes over something like 1.5 million and 30 minutes over 3 million.

Have a good friend who does a lot of beverage sales for the Georgia Dome. He said they are telling him the ticket count sold right now is abt 41k. They said that would blow out their number for food and beverage sales. I would expect more ppl with the show still 9 days away.

That's a great number of ticket sales so far. It's a weekday show as well.

It's very real! Lol. Just got back from Chicago for the Open Air Festival and I saw lots of GNR shirts from the tour... So that confirms it! Haha

Could not stop thinking the same thing at the show.

All those lean years, all that doubt...was I really at a show with 50,000 people watching my favorite band kill it and look happy as hell in the process?

Amazing night.

The ironic thing is, Emily was bashed for saying that we had exciting times ahead after Ron and Tommy left, but she was right!  Where'd she go anyway?

Yeah, she dropped out, huh?  Weird.

Emily's problem was she said it, regardless.  A packed house of 50,000 people and the band sounding solid...4,000 people and the band sounding iffy, it was all great.

Even if you grade on a curve, you'd have to concede there were obvious differences in both concerts, right?

Another show in Mexico? Well if that's the case then I guess it could mean more shows in the U.S.

So are the rumours correct that they were rehearsing a new song at sound check a few gigs ago ?

I haven't heard that.

They did sound check Sorry, though, which many fans might THINK is a new song, if they aren't familiar with Chinese Democracy.

Went to see David Gilmour in France.

We are definitely having some exciting times now!   ok
