Seems like Brazil (and probably the other South American dates) will be announced tomorrow.

Tomorrow's edition of Destak's newspaper was just released:



José Norberto Flesch, the editor, said on Twitter that it's gonna be 5 dates: Sao Paulo (11/11), Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Brasilia.

Gutted- looks like we're not getting them in the UK this year then!

I hate this 'tour Europe in the summer and do the festival circuit' nonsense American bands seem to do. Festivals are shit, and full of part-time music fans! come on GNR, give us your own shows!

I think you'll find they will probably do a couple of festival dates and some shows of their own too, maybe a little later in the year. GnR have always acknowledged the UK as a major player when it comes to shows.

I think you'll find they will probably do a couple of festival dates and some shows of their own too, maybe a little later in the year. GnR have always acknowledged the UK as a major player when it comes to shows.
Indeed. I still envy the 2006 UK tour when they got that amazing performance of Sailing. Smiley

The better performance that night was Izzy and Axl doing the Stones "Sway"....badass Gnr type rock song with some great soloing by Richard.

That 2006 tour was great- we got the Stones 'You Gotta Move' the night I went (Sheffield), and seeing them with Izzy was cool. Managed to get front row too- was so hot that night that I dreaded the flames going off!

UK has been a big market for them, but now festivals just seem so powerful, and more profitable for the bands. So many big acts come over, do one or two of them, then leave. Last festival GNR show I saw was just horrible, crowd wise.

I really hope you're right about the UK - early 2017 would be great! It's so damn antagonizing reading all the reviews of the American shows, and seeing the setlists! I want a slice! haha!
