As great as the Up Close n Personal tour was...

There is something to be said about a sold out arena just waiting to explode... I can't wait to be part of this crowd...

Has GNR ever had a show with the crowd behind the stage like it appears to be for this ? I don't think so.

Well, so far the sold out arena is sold out to a bunch of scalpers. I've spent the day today trying to get a reasonably priced ticket in GA or section P1. Didn't happen. Well, it is what it is, not gonna spend a fortune to make a scalper rich. And I need to get down to Vegas too, flight, hotel, ain't cheap. Too bad, would have been epic I have the same birthday as Izzy, April 8th, would have been the birthday of my life...

Anyways, everybody who's going have fun out there. And if you film this somehow, I'll buy the bootleg, I promise. Rather pay for that than to a scalper.

I'd say hold on a bit. Touts have bought all the tickets and I'm sure they won't sell them. Give it a few weeks and prices will fall right down.

They will fall but the way that the Hammerstein shows were handled was much better. I hope to make it. Axs or aeg whatever was the worst ticket buying experience ever. I rather wait in line in 0 degree weather for tickets. I was in the waiting room since 12:30 just to get sold out. I will pay a scalper what he wants. But I rather give it to the band.

Cheers to those going! Going to be epic! See you there!

I think B, C, D, E, F are floor sections with seats.

So the question is "Are shows sellout"

It was confirmed by GNR's Facebook page that the shows were sold out. Secondary markets like Stubhub have tickets for sale.

Exactly.

It's been pretty difficult to find any available tickets since it went sale.
It's safe to say it's as sold out as it can be at the moment. Unless they release more tickets later when they know how much space the stage needs and so on.

Considering all the talk, yeah. There's a lot of interest.

And a lot of people didn't get tickets... So they could've sold a lot more....

Haha yeah, I guess online sales never really goes fair. I mean standing in line for hours, like back in the old day ghehe That's fair and square! First person to be there gets the first ticket!

Oh yeah I remember doing that back in the day.  Honestly that was the most fair.

I remember back in 88 when GNR were playing The Felt Forum (after I had seen the Ritz a few months before)  , and I cut out of school with a friend and we drove to the Ticketmaster at a video store on Long Island and I was freaking out cause I thought for sure they would have already sold out, it was 2 hrs after they went on sale, but to my delight I was able to get tickets, never forget that show. Crushed right up against the stage, left that show dripping wet, all the way home on the LIRR and still was soaking wet. Cheesy

That's awesome!  You have been to so many of the landmark/legendary shows the band has had.  I remember you telling me stories about the original Ritz show when we were at the return show in 2012.  I know it sounds crazy to go though all the hoops to land tickets for shows, but that is a day you will never forget, totally worth it!

Jarmo, do you (or anyone else here) know if you buy 2 VIP tickets do you get 2 of the extra stuff (poster, gift bag, etc.) or do you just get one per transaction?

In the past, it was two.
Like if one person bought two VIP packages for a show in Las Vegas in 2014, he/she got two lanyards, two people got to go to the Meet & Greet and he/she got two lithographs.
