CD
Better
Street of Dreams
Catcher
TWAT
Madagascar

IRS
Sorry

I think those fit Slash's style the best, but I would love to hear him put his spin on something like Shackler's anytime.

Starting this only because I think I've seen this question surface in various forms in about 5 different threads. Hard to really gather people's thoughts that way. It's a legit question - If , in fact, some CD songs to make it onto the setlist...which ones would you see Slash's style working well on

Just list the top 3 in your mind that'd work well

1) IRS
2) CATCHER
3) TWAT - This one I would actually love to watch/hear the guy ripping through those solos

Catcher In The Reye is perfect for Slash!!

Btw I do see Slash in 1) THis I love, 2) There Was a TIme, 3)The blues(SOD) and to a lesser extent Madagascar and Catcher in the Rye.

These would be my choices, they seem better suited to his style than some of the other tracks.

TWAT is easily the best guitar song on that album, but very tough for Axl to sing live.

A Slash take on the guitar solo would sure be interesting!

I am honestly shocked that they played Better last night. Not only because of the guitar playing style but it seems like a real 3 guitar song. But I'm sure it's great or it wouldn't be in the set. I can't wait to hear it.

From what some guy said in his review, Richard took the Buckethead leads just fine. Aside from that, there is nothing Slash couldn't play there. And I do hope he got the chords right (Ashba used power chords instead of the original weird chords).

I really would love to hear his take on This I Love. And of course, Better and CD.
After reading the review where it seems like they may have taken the title track back to its 2001 roots, and considering the fact its one of my favorite GNR songs, that's definitely at the top of my list.

Well, the 2001 has different drums and tempo. I dont think it came back to that. I think it was just more straight foward punk.

The only CD songs I want to see Slash fuck with are...

This I Love
Chinese Democracy
Better
Madagascar

Otherwise it won't sound that good I don't think. I'd say "Sorry", but more than likely that song is about SLash right? lol

Give me CITR or give me... something else. TWAT would be nice. I'd be cool with IRS, CD, The Blues.

REALLY want Prostitute but there's no way in hell that happens.

Please no This I Love. That's one I can do without. Now if it was part of a run of November Rain-Estranged-This I Love, okay fine, I could deal with it.

Love the DTJ-into-If The World idea.

Love the song.  One of my favorites on the album.

But given the lyrical content, I'm thinking its the second longest shot after 'Sorry', for the same reason.
