It's unfortunate Izzy doesn't have any interest in being in a rock band and touring anymore aside of showing up here and there for a few songs, but it is what it is.

It's already the most legit version of the band since 1993.

Legit?

So I take it Izzy didn't post anything on his Instagram account?  No FB post from him?   hihi

I think you could see Izzy in a few guest spots as most people have already said - kind of like he's been doing for the past several years.

I think I saw Izzy drive by on a snowmobile, yesterday.  Today, I think he's in Palm Springs racing dune buggies.

This really feels incredible.

Last time Axl shared the stage with Slash/Duff was 23 years ago. I was 17 then. I saw them in Madrid a few weeks before their last gig in Buenos Aires.

I'm so happy they managed to mend fences in some shape or fashion so they could get back together and give it another shot.  I can't wait to see if the chemistry they once had is back.

I've been watching videos from the Illusions tour lately and man they were good. I hadn't watched The Tokyo shows in at least 15 years and shit, they were simply awesome. Paris was also pretty fucking incredible. That band was larger than life.

I'm pretty sure now in 2016 the first few shows will feel a little bit tight, but the more the play, the more comfortable they will be playing and performing next to one another.  To me, more than the songs themselves (which I'm sure they will sound great live) it's the little things like Axl leaning against Slash on WTTJ or things like that what will be worth the price of the ticket, regardless how expensive they may be. If Axl and Slash embrace on stage I will seriously cry of happiness.

This is really fucking awesome guys! I can't believe this has finally happened!

I respect the fuck out of him, really.

This is a guy who is talented as fuck, at the top of the world, and he could have mined fame and fortune for a good long time, but "I got my share, I'm set...this is driving me fucking nuts, I'm gonna go live my life and be happy".

And he's done that for 25 years-ish?

Every once in awhile, when he feels like it, when he wants to hang out and get a little taste, he shows up, shakes some hands, plays some chords, and goes back to living his life.

Yeah, Izzy is just a weird cat.

Sure did write us some killer songs once upon a time though.  So I got nothing but love for the guy.

Yeah i can't blame the guy for doing what makes him happy. That's what everyone should do and if he wasn't happy living the rock star life he made the right choice.

IF there is new music from this incarnation....I'd actually be pretty surprised if Izzy doesn't write with them.

If I knew what you meant why would I ask?

Are you implying that other members of the band have not been legitimate musicians or....??

I suspect this is his answer to whether he's fully in with this reunion:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DloSoKGpgVA

Wow, seriously?  We're really going with the confusion routine?

This isn't the day or time to re-ligitate all that, is it?
