Look, I'm upset that he won't be on Kimmel too. Was really looking forward to that. But is NOW really the time to complain about it with what we now know?

The Coachella news is amazing, and the best GNR news in 20 years.

But this was sloppily handled and just plays into the perception many have about him.

You can't think both things?

Hey DX how do you know this was his call. Everyone always assumes what if there is a different media venue they wanted to do maybe someone bigger then Jimmy Kimmel wants first crack at either Axl or the big 3 altogether and Axl says hey wait lets do this instead. But in the end what does it matter.

Honestly, not too much.  I don't think the interview was going to be groundbreaking or anything.

The only that might have been of would be if Axl and Slash walked out together, and who knows if that was ever in the plans.

Axl may have canceled because he wasn't media ready in one way or another at the moment (speculation). But I am pretty sure Kimmel will get him when he is ready, It might be tomorrow, Wednesday, thursday, or Friday... Next Week or a month or two. If the rumors about a semi reunion are true, everyone will want an interview.

All I really care about is the end result. If the headline now reads, "Axl Cancels on Kimmel but Slash is Back", the latter is really all that matters to me.

I would love to get a one hour interview with Axl and Kurt Loder right about now.  How great would that be?  I always thought their interviews were great.

Axl Rose's appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel' canceled due to 'unforeseen circumstances'

Said a source with "Jimmy Kimmel Live" who declined to go on the record or elaborate: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, unfortunately Axl is no longer scheduled to be on Kimmel tomorrow."

similar thing happened 2 year ago when Daft Punk were to appear on Colbert show (Collchella).
They canceled 2 days prior, because their exclusive agreement with MTV to perform the songs there first.

so maybe someone else offered better deal to them... or whatever

It is the best thing to do. It's a fun idea, but it is 4.00 in the morning here to watch Kimmel.

We got some news on Coachella, and there is a thread on Adz's hair. It's probably enough for a day

Perhaps the cancelation has to do with questions regarding the GNR lineup,,,Has there been a snafu and a lineup is not in place? Just wondering, not speculating...

Yep. Fallon introduced GNR at the 2002 MTV VMAs too. Don't be surprised if Axl decides to appear on Jimmy Fallon. I wouldn't rule out a Howard Stern appearance - depending on comfort level. That could be more of a Duff appearance due to the question me that'd be asked.
