Report/Rumor - Axl has pulled out of Jimmy Kimmel's show

This time, the show put his name on their site, until it disappeared.

I know, I'm not talking about the user pointing it out, I'm talking about the admin of a forum posting a public tweet about a user of a private forum. Just strikes me as skeevy.

The forums are very much public.  Any post or login is seen by anyone.  We only tweeted out a message after being bombarded by what was quite likely a mistake posted by a user before we went down.

Anyway I am not here to discuss another site while on Jarmo's.  If you wish to discuss it PM me

On topic, I was hoping to see Axl on Kimmel but I guess plans changed.  Who knows why or what for but something changed.  Look forward to see what is next anyway!

Maybe to some. But isn't it weird how the story came out days ago, then it took days for his name to appear, only for it to disappear in a few hours.

Sounds like it wasn't 100% confirmed to me.

ABC's website runners get their show info from ABC's showrunners, talent bookers and legal department. If ABC confirmed it on their website that means it was confirmed with all of the above. That, in any technical sense of the word is a confirmation. That's how every band, artist, actor and comedian who appears on any talk show in America is confirmed.

If we're going by what's confirmed on gunsnroses.com I guess Ashba and Bumblefoot are still in the band. I mean, sorry, we're suddenly supposed to look to that site for confirmation of news? Since when? I've been to Guns N' Roses concerts that were never even mentioned on there!

Yeah but last time was to confirm and promote an already booked residency. Not drop some bombshell like this has been built up to be through the cinema ad and so on. Very different situation. And it all seemed to be going very, very nicely up until tonight.

I don't know man. It's just sad. Felt like this was the moment of triumph. Hopefully it's a bump on the track of whatever we were headed for and not a derailment.

If Jimmy didn't cancel it, Jimmy doesn't have to be the one to excuse it. If you're a guest in any context and you aren't going to show up you don't expect the host to explain your absence.

I wish I could believe that. But I already told myself that was why CD took so many years to come out. And then why CD2 didn't come out. At some point I've just had to come to terms with the fact that Axl probably hasn't been crapping himself senseless for the last 20 years.

No, I thought it was gonna happen until they removed his name from their site. That made me wonder why it was removed.
