Jays are painful to watch!   I am holding off getting that blue jay tattoo now..    They are not playing like the best team in the world.  They are playing like a bunch of yankee bums!!!!

2017 Ball schedule Is out

Some great road games for the Jays next year.

Wrigley field, I will def be going there in mid aug.  Already looking at hotels, never been there and may be a once in lifetime road trip for me

Milwalkee, Brewers.  Also never been.  Heard nothing but good things about the ballpark and the surroundings.  2 games in May

My yearly trip to Seattle to see the Jays will be in June.   Should be a good year

I was screaming at the TV yesterday...

Yankees caught a break from the baseball gods with that rain delay and couldn't take advantage.

Been to Wrigley quite a few times, fun fan experience but it's a shithole.

Last time I was there, was heading up the concourse and thought we saw a dog a few feet ahead of us - it was a giant fucking rat.

They're in the process of a making improvements but a complete tear down would've been the way to go.

The Wrigleyville neighborhood surrounding the park is alot of fun, go early and stay late.

Thanks.   I was thinking that being a old park would mean it's tight.   Small seats.  Crap food etc....    Sure the drinks are good though.   And just the chance to say I went there and put the stadium up on my wall of visits.   I am staying at ther Westin downtown.  Never been before to Chicago.   Looks like a big city

Any reports on the Brewers park?   I have only heard great things

Nope, never been to Miller Park.

Favorite Parks are PNC in Pittsburgh and ATT in Frisco, both are incredible.

Pittsburgh is on the bucket list.  I too have heard it's amazing.    Just gotta hold my breath for the Jays to get out there and hopefully it lines up with some other grey sports there

I was just told (or it was insinuated) that Pettite was better than Pedro, over in the NFL thread.

Ditto Schilling (better than Pedro).

I, the avowed Yankees nut, just had to defend Pedro Martinez.

The world just stopped spinning.

This Sept has had me ALMOST cheering for teams I never thought I would EVEN consider cheering for!!  BUT all it has is strengthen my hatred for these teams, the horrible evil Yankees, the bums in Baltimore that stink and the cheating stupid red sox!!

On a happy note

Damn have the crowds in Seattle been great to see!  Probably 2-1 Jays fans there.  Just a sea of blue!  I would love to know what a new season ticket holder in Seattle must think about this haha, its like a away game

Not saying, better, just better winner and nothing in sports counts more than winning games. If building a team in the 90's/early 2000's specifically for a 7 game Series in October I make sure I have Pettite and Schilling before I put Pedro on the team. Same for February... Tom is the QB and Peyton is holding a clipboard.

Yup, you just lost me.

Better over a career is better over a career.  Basing a decision on success in a small sample just makes my "data hat guy" head want to explode.  I'll take career stats over what could very well be luck, any day of the week (and twice on Sunday).

I'd also offer Pettite's success was predicated as much off his teams (and his bullpens) as it was off his own numbers (and Andy is only going to the HOF if he buys a ticket). But I think that will likely fall on deaf ears, so I won't push the point too hard.
