What I do think could be cool and something to watch for is the inclusion of CD Era material.  I don't think you would see Slash (for lack of a better description) "pull a brain"  and play everything note for note.  I think you would see him totally improvise his guitar work... Which could lead to some interesting album releases if they still have to deliver anything to Universal.

After all Axl re-recorded appetite with the new lineup,  does he re-record CD Era material with  a more classic lineup. TIL was around when Slash was still there so I'm sure Axl envisioned him contributing to it.

I would say no setlists, just song lists.  Rehearse more than you play and call it our on stage ok

It's a good plan.

I wanna hear Axl sing Slither and Fall to Pieces  yes smoking drool drool beer

Would be a nice way to honor Scott. I hope they play a fair share of CD songs too.

Axl on Slither would be badass....Always thought that was one groove and solo that belonged on a Gn'r album
Even Duff's intro base is so damn powerful

On the other side of the coin - Would love to hear Slash handling the TWAT guitar work

I said this on another message board. Slash and Duff likely would love the guitar heavy , hard rock type songs off Chinese Democracy. Here is a dream set list....

Welcome to the Jungle
Paradise City
Patience
Sweet Child of Mine
Live and Let Die
November Rain
Knockin on Heaven's Door
Civil War (I'd say Slash would even do the classic Jimi Hendrix opening he did live back years ago)
You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory (Duff plays this one to give Rose a breather)
Catcher in tje Rye
There Was A Time
I.R.S

It would be nice to see them do a new song in there if they could. Or perhaps let Rose cover a couple Velvet Revolver songs , possibly do a Beatles or Rolling Stones cover mixed in.

It should be fun to see what they do.

I would love to see them kick songs like Jungle further back into the setlist, and return to the feel of the UYI tour... Start with songs like Right Next Door to Hell, and move Nightrain up in the setlist.

Prior to the release of his last album, Slash used a skeleton of Anastasia mixed in with The Godfather as a solo, I would like to see something like that. It allows the classic members to hold on to a piece of what they did over the last 20 years.

Agree, I would love to see a return to the UYI set up,
Right next door to hell is a great opener Imo

Most of Appetite will get played, then the rest made up of UYI stuff, I see only enough space for 2 CD tracks at most, and if we get 2 new songs then maybe no CD stuff at all.

Play AFD all the way through.   Mix hits from the other albums as an encore.
It celebrates AFD, is newsworthy, realistic, and non-political.

I don't care for the "play AFD all the way through" idea only because the same type of thing has been done before. Roger Waters did it.  Twice.  The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall.

I'd like to see them do a random set list with songs from ALL the albums.  Start with an AFD song, mix in a few UYI I & II songs then, when everyone's comfortable with that, throw in a CD song.  Then continue with a mix of songs from all the albums.  If they put in a new song from CD II, I wouldn't object either.

2016 will mark the 25th anniversary of the UYI albums, maybe more of an emphasis on those songs? Then use 2017 to celebrate AFD at 30?

AFD was the 2006 tour.  It is also the main stay Axl has played for the past decade.  A heavy AFD song list means I won't travel to see them.  I would love to see them play UYI content.  I saw them 3 times between 2006-2010 so for me the draw is UYI .  if the content is heavy UYI I am willing to travel pretty far either Vegas or Vancouver.  I don't expect more then 1-2 of the new songs.  I can see Better as the orginal members have commented about liking that song.

This is more the setlist I am hoping for

Rocket Queen has to be played. The last 3 minutes of the song is perfection at it's finest! I would love to hear Don't Damn Me, but I doubt it.
