Slash-Ax-Duff-Izzy-Richard-Frank-Dizzy-Pitman.....now that is a Monstrosity!  rofl

I think Izzy will be involved more than everyone seems to think.

So I have seen all the tour rumors but one theme I don't like is Izzy wont be on tour. Anyone know why? His choice? Band doesn't want him. Just curious.

Considering the band's line up hasn't been confirmed by anybody, especially the band themselves, we just don't know yet.

But, if you want to assume he's not part, then there's plenty of possible reasons.
Izzy did some guest spots with GN'R in 2012 and 2006. But that was no full tour, it seems like he kinda came and went as he wished.

But, it's possible he wants to tour, then all that is not important. We'll see. Smiley

Absolutely can understand (though would still like to see/hear) Adler being excluded, but if a missing Izzy is something other than Izzy's desire to be excluded..then that would be very dissapointing.

I would love to see Slash and Axl together again, but GNR has always been about Izzy and Axl for me.  Those guys are the heart and soul of the orgin of this band.
I hope Izzy would want to go out on a big way.  This arena tour would be a big love fest, and it would be for the fans.  The band has always been good about respecting
the love their fans have for them.  I would hope Izzy would let us say thank you, and see him one last time on a summer tour.

I think no matter what the 'official everyday lineup' is, Izzy will be involved in some way. If the 1 or 2 new tracks rumor is true, then he will certainly be part of that... I assume some of that may have even spawned from Izzy and Duff writing together last year.

Izzy said touring wasn't the problem.  Say it at 1:05    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EA1pNur9drw

Yeah, touring in itself wasn't a problem. He just liked it scaled down.

If the current rumors are true... It doesn't seem very scaled down.

Wonder how much he likes money at this point...

Do you think that's changed since 1991? If I could guess, I think he's comfortable economically.

If he liked money more than happiness, he wouldn't have quit in 1991.

I just say that because people change, circumstances change. A lot can change in 25 years

Yep, totally agree, I wouldn't count Izzy out just yet.

Izzy was not happy about being demoted back in the day for not running around the stage like others in the band, was a pretty big slap in the face. Personally for me, no Izzy, not interested in this circus. I'd much rather pay top dollar to see The Quiet Cool strumming away in a dark corner than to have someone else fill his spot just because they jump around on stage. In Fortus' case, anyone else notice that the man looks like he is punching his guitar when he plays? What's up with that (not knocking his ability, he is a good player)?

I've never even considered that Izzy would be a part of this, although an occasional guest appearance seems extremely likely.

Man.  If Izzy did sign on for all of it again...damn.

Personally, I'd love  to see Izzy be a part of a reunion and not just do a few shows.  He is a big part of the original guns sound.  Plus, when I've seen Izzy on stage.....Axl seems very happy.  If a full scale reunion is truly in the works...then Izzy would certainly be a welcome addition for many reasons.
