Has he even been in the public eye since 6/7/14?

Last 2 times he took this long a layoff, he came back in great shape and great voice.  Honestly, I expect that now too.

I wonder if Duff has Axl on the kickboxing and bike riding regiment that got him in the shape he's in... and that probably extended Scott Weiland's tragic life?

I read in one of these threads someone recalling Slash's brother making that crack about Axl being fat.  Which he then recanted within 24 hours, publicly, and tossed in that Axl was actually on some kind of regimen.

The poster theorized that's when he knew something was up, because he was obviously instructed to do some damage control by Slash.  And how the hell would Slash know, at that time?

Hmm unsure if my previous reply was deleted but if that's a recent pic he is gonna be destroyed. It would be far better to delay the reunion and work out with Duff for 6 months.

If he sounds good, no one will give a shit how he looks.

People only make the connection between his physical condition and his voice because its seems like its connected.  2011 onwards were his weakest vocals since the relaunch, and its also when he looked the worst.

But if he's still nailing the vocals, no one will care.

Agreed.  Its about the voice, not his looks.

The opposite is also true.  If he looked like 2006, but for some reason sounded like 2012...that's really no better either.
