This is a nice little piece of tease, but if truly going down, just get out in front of it and announce already

but look where the silence got them! maybe they can garner more attention by holding off and continuing to tease for a while longer, who knows. i would love to see something announced too, dont get me wrong, but whatever they are doing seems to be working.

Well, something seems to be happening.. there's endless possibilities. Original 5, UYI, hybrid, Robin n' Bucket, brand new line-up, CD 2, Stay of Execution... one thing is sure though. If they start airing teaser videos, something is bound to happen within a relative short period of time. They can't just bring out the curiosity and then wait weeks and months until something is said, the element of intrigue would have vanished then, it would be a waste of money for them.

I'd kill for a Robin and Bucket, I don't think that's happening because they took all the CD stuff off the store, but then again, they post a lot of CD themed stuff on Facebook

I'm thinking it might be connected to Coachella. If so, I don't expect any announcement until Jan 5.

It fits with teasers (without saying anything substantial) starting to roll a little over a week ahead.


The teasers are certainly bringing GNR back in the spotlight, and will keep people talking about it for the next week or so... then ? official announcement.

The advertisers have to pay according to the number of ticket holders for the screening as far as I know.

By picking Star Wars, the ad(s) they are running can't be cheap.

Yeah, I predicted Jan 5 as well.

But, by running more "teasers" without telling us anything, keeping it cryptic... there's bound to be even more positive exposure. And, by keeping the teaser-run short, 1 week+, the exposure doesn't turn sour because nothing comes out of it.
