the opening from the next cd would be sweet, like how they started the cd tours with cd. who knows if it will be out by then, but it would be rad if the very first song they played the next time they appeared was a new one. heres to hoping the next tour is a cd 2 tour, regardless of the lineup.

In case of a reunion, I would like to hear a song that hasn't been played since Duff & Slash were part of the band. Pretty Tied Up or Sympathy would be cool. However, they're probably going to play at venues where the audience is not solely comprised of diehard fans, so WTTJ is a pretty safe bet.

Always felt Hair of the Dog would be a cool opener...Axl announcing "Give me a little bit of volume on this one" as the band comes onstage....But WTTJ is a classic opener...Although back on the UYI tour I always liked the stories he told before WTTJ..

If the reunion happen, the WTTJ has to be the opener, SFTD would in my view be off limits, for all that it represented.

If the band is in its current status (ie not in any form related to the classic line-up) then Sympathy for the Devil would be really cool, however I'd imagine CD would remain the opener for anticipation value alone, the way the band came on stage in silhouette during the intro part was perfect leading to burst that exposed Axl was a really good fit.

Chinese Democracy was pretty good

For the next (GN'R)tour... Riad n the Beduins, that would be interesting

For the next (reunion) show/tour... It's so easy

Agree with everything rj said. If not, Chinese, Easy or Get in the Ring (with some "Guns n' Roses " shouting from the audience ).

But some songs fit better as openers than others. I don't want a new song just for the sake of it, it has to be close to or as fitting as WTTJ.

If CD 2 is an album full of ballads, it won't exactly open a show with a bang no matter how good all the ballads are.
