She claimed to be their manager in the early days. She is a very bitter person who wrote a book. My guess is she wanted to get her name out there to promote her book. I'm not much of a fan of hers from what I've seen in unofficial documentaries that have included her.

Vicki Hamilton was around for like a few months when it was inevitable that GN'R were going to get signed anyway and she has milked that into a career. It's not like she got let go for being too good of a manager or too valuable of an asset!
