Anxious Disease, by the band The Outpatience, was written by GN'R contributor and friend West Arkeen (co-writer of songs such as "It's So Easy", "Yesterdays", "Bad Obsession" and others by GN'R) was recorded in 1996 at Duff's house and features Slash on lead guitar and Axl on backup/harmony vocals, making this song the last collaboration of any sort thus far by Axl and Slash. It also gives us some Axl vocals from a time he wasn't at all active in the public - they would be his last released vocals until 1999's Oh My God. Does anyone else love it?

A good track, I would've preferred if Axl sang the whole thing though. Axl's voice is just too good to be a backing vocal. The same goes for Did u no wrong with Steve Jones and I will not go quietly with Don Henley, you just end up wanting to hear more Axl. Same is true on Baz's songs featuring Axl

As for Baz's Angel Down songs, I thought Axl was great..Reminded me of the song he and Izzy did with Alice Cooper,Under my Wheels, from the Decline of...soundtrack..

Speaking of Axl Rose backing vocals, is there a version of Michael Monroe's Dead, Jail or Rock N Roll that actually includes Axl?  I recall he was in the video but not not the album.

I thought Axl sounded tremendous on those 3 songs.  Like the old Axl.

No, which is a bummer.

The only version is the audio bootleg from that concert where they shot that video.  And the sound is less than stellar.

It's on Michael Monroe's Live at the Whiskey.
Slash also plays on Looking at You.

I think "Anxious Disease" is a good song, though not especially memorable.  I have it burned onto a CD but don't listen to it unless I am playing the whole CD.
