no one is dictating how someone else looks or dresses. furthermore it is absolutely normal (consciously or unconsciously) that you somehow rate someone's look. by the way Image/Look took a big role in GNR history. GNR looked cool. don't think they woud have had the same impact, if they were ugly as hell and looked like f'n nerds with their guitars hanging right under their chin.
young Emilys had a crush on Axl and young Bills wanted to be as cool Slash and the other guys. plus, they made outstanding music...
it ain't about giving someone a hard time on the street for his look or something

Over 40, older than most here. I fail to see the obsession some have for hating on someone else's choice of clothing, hairstyle, etc- When the music videos became popular in the early 90's with the onset of MTV et al, bands paid more attention to how they looked, I'm aware of that, I don't need a history lesson. I think some would critique Axl's appearance no matter what. |
