Actually i think Illusions sounds best on cassettes. Then Cd and last Vinyl.

Cassettes are fun. Easy to make mix tapes, easy to record your own stuff. ect.

I miss them to! My favourite music medium next to vinyl

On a side note:
Had a class a few years back. My pupils were nine at the time, and met the word "a walkman" in a (Norwegian) text. They were all clueless on that word, and the context didn't help them much either. I asked them all for suggestions on the meaning of the word.
They came up with "male supermodel", "zebra crossing" (with traffic lights) and some other explanations I have forgotten.
No one came up with a music player with cassettes. Who could blame them  Huh Made me feel, yet again, very old  hihi

I've owned both prob 4 or 5 times over.. I'd always somehow scratch my UYI 1 and Coma would start skipping.. FUCK, id have to buy a new one just to hear Coma.

Not to mention trying to save batteries on my Walkman by using a pen to twirl the tape around to forward/rewind  hihi
or the sad discovery of finding the melted mess after leaving tapes in a hot car ...  Angry

I bought my Illusions tapes from Woolworths in St Andrews, Scotland (ah, woolworths nostalgia!), they had a huge display and 2 was selling faster than 1 there.  I asked for the display board (denied). That was a time when there were a tonne of unofficial magazines and poster specials of GnR in newsagents, I still have some of them.

Right about the time I became pretty proficient in repairing cassette tapes, they switched to CDs as the preferred method.
