If this news is true... and Axl and Slash are back on speaking terms.. all reunion talk and whatever else aside.. i am just happy that their friendship looks salvageable. It would have been a shame to seem them both go to their graves without reconciling at some point. But still.. it is all speculation.. hopefully a little bit more comes out of this for the fans over the next few weeks or so.

I wouldnt say im excited... per say... but intrigued as to where this is heading.

As you probably know.. I am an unashamed fan of the original line up... which kind of extends as far as the UYI line up... after that not so much in regards to the line ups 2000 onwards.

I did get extremely excited in 2012 when Duff showed up for a few songs at the O2 in london after running into Axl.. and then the giggs in sth america he did last year i was very excited about. IF there was some kind of plan for Duff or Izzy to come back for a show here or there, or a small run of shows id be delighted. Im not sure what the chances of Slash coming back are.. even for just a few shows.. but if that were too happen.. you'd go along way to find someone more stoked than me 

Nothing ive said here is against anything the line ups have done post 2000... (in fact Rock Am ring 2006) was a farrrrking smashing show.. Axl killed it.. and as i said early on in our jousts.. i went to a particular show in 2013 not expecting a great deal and i had a fantastic time, as Axl was freaking awesome. So im not completely knocking whats gone on in those years... its a bitter-sweet thing if you get my drift.

Put simply.. i guess maybe i am more inclined to believe fernando than i was 2 weeks ago or so when he said.. "we will have something to say in a month or so".... I just think it needs to be more than saying we got joe blow to play lead guitar and whoever else to do this or that if they arent someone i can identify with as guns n roses... so for me..

I'm definitely optimistic, and I know you are trolling with that "excited" comment but I think GNRs next chapter could be very intriguing.

I was at the Bethlehem show, the Golden Gods show and most of the Vegas shows this year. It was great seeing Duff onstage at the GG's show.

I don't think I have to choose a particular era to prefer over all others, why is it not acceptable to like every era of GNR? Can't wait to hear the announcement that was mentioned.

But a couple days into this now and no camp is denying this or retracting anything.   I would say this is all legit.   Mainstream media has picked up the story.  So if it wasn't correct.   The window for retracting it is almost over

Its definitely acceptable to like every line up... im not knocking you for that.

For me though... considering the line up changes, and especially the fact that the current line up is very much up in the air.. IF we were going to get a reunion of sorts.. then now looks the time to do it and for me.. that would be freaking awesome.

I'd love nothing more than to see the original guys get back together.. make peace with it all.. maybe do an album and tour it with the classics thrown in.

Of course thats my hope.. might be the opposite of what all those guys want.. which is cool.. Im just a fan.. who loved the old band and the music that came from 86-93...

But again.. im definitely not knocking you for liking every line up thats ever been. Its just not for me personally.. 

i wish i could have gotten to more shows over the years but ive travelled extensively and missed a lot of chances by bad luck.. im jealous you have been to so many!
