Trump's number are sinking like the Titanic. He's now down to just 44% even in the most conservative Rassmussen poll. Ouch.

In today's addition of you can't make this shit up, Trump cancelled meeting with Denmark after they say Greenland is not for sale. Then says those who vote for Democrats are disloyal to Israel.

I mean....just un-fucking-believable. You couldn't write this shit in a work of fiction because nobody would believe it.

Two mass shootings in under 24 hours 29 dead and dozens injured and the third in a week. Is now the time to talk about gun laws?
Here ya go -
Trump Says He Wants Background Checks. Here’s Why That Will Be Hard.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/lisettevoytko/2019/08/05/trump-says-he-wants-background-checks-heres-why-that-will-be-hard/#41dc6d724783
Whether it be gun reform or immigration, making progress on either is close to impossible due to our dysfunctional government.
Apparently it was enough to piss the NRA off. -
Trump warned by NRA over background checks
https://www.greenwichtime.com/news/article/Trump-warned-by-NRA-over-background-checks-14288843.php
And now the flip has flopped.
As most of us expected it too, now that the NRA has gotten into Trumps ear.
So, no background checks. Trump is now parroting the NRA company line of "It's not guns, it's mental health, so no background checks".
He must REALLY need that 30 million (which is what the NRA donated in 2016) for 2020. Or the NRA threatened to tell it's entire membership to revolt (no way they would....they gonna vote for the Dem??!!!) and Trump is shaking over his recent polling.

As he should be, i realize next November is a long way off still and things could change once the Dems nominate someone, but the fact that the polls show 4-5 of the potential nominees spanking him both nationally and in several key states should worry the Trump campaign. On top of other recent events, the economy showing cracks, ISIS resurgence etc. In 2020 all the pressure is on Trump. He has everything to lose. The states that Hillary won will stay blue. The only possible weak spots are Colorado and Nevada but either seem unlikely. Trump can only lose a combination of 2 or 3 states and it is game over. His margin of error is incredibly tiny.

Did he just cancel a visit to Denmark because they don't wanna discuss the sale of Greenland?
It's not like buying a plot of land for a hotel......

Yes, yes he did. He literally threw a temper tantrum like a spoiled child.
But people will still vote for him.

Because Denmark is evil! They made fun of him. No one makes fun of him or his great ideas of buying territories as he wishes.....
Seriously though. This is how he treats an ally! Denmark is part of NATO.....

And now he's referring to the prime minister of Denmark as nasty. Anyone else notice this pattern with this buffoon, that any woman who doesn't kiss his ass is labeled nasty?

This highlights a disturbing trend with various reporting out of government agencies on economic statistics. It's something I've mentioned here and there when talking about and posting numbers:
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/us-created-501000-fewer-jobs-as-of-march-2019-than-previous-reported-2019-08-21?mod=mw_latestnews&fbclid=IwAR1GHYDTJa5zF2JVgmWf0TrFWFYQ8ZNp3S4EeiA-mn71sDn1ChkEvE5Rsmg
First off, it shows that job growth is not nearly as robust as has been previously reported.
But it's the historic level of revision that's concerning. And it's happening with LOTS of the numbers the govt releases (GDP is another one): A statistic will come out that is flattering in the moment, and then over the next year, that statistic is revised downward in a historically large fashion.
And this is a Trump specific trend. These TYPES of revisions were not a hallmark of any previous administration.

Trump has brought back the NATO lie again.
That's not how NATO is funded. All countries are up to date and have paid their NATO dues...so NATO is being FUNDED fully.
An obvious, and persistent, lie. Again.

Now he's back on circumventing the 14th amendment again too with the birthright citizenship wanting to use EO to nullify it. He also wants to use an EO to nullify a court order to detain migrant children indefinitely. How can any real christian support such behavior?

I mean....he's like a fucking cockroach. Every time you think he's done something(s) that would finally be the big wake up call to his supporters, they prove they don't care, and he's given a second life.
So, I'd have to say no. Probably not.

Trump's number are sinking like the Titanic. He's now down to just 44% even in the most conservative Rassmussen poll. Ouch.
And now Rassmussen is back to -2.
Because that's what they do...and I actually think it's an intentional manipulation of their poll. Because it seems like they're just trying to manipulate the aggregate total.
And they are by far the biggest outlier...by 6 to 8 points....right now.

Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China, including bringing your companies HOME and making your products in the USA
So, for the conservatives who grouse about socialism, THE ABOVE IS ACTUAL SOCIALISM! This is Trump trying to enact direct government control of industry, and the free market. Ordering companies to find an alternative to China? ORDERING?
Un-freaking-real.
