Loved the hammerstein ballroom (have loved it since the ecw days).

Really liked the Roseland, too...but i think more because of the show and people at the show, than because of the venue itself.

I would kill to see gnr in an old, gothc or art deco style theater.

I loved Roseland, too bad they closed.

When did this happen? Gnr have made great strides in the number of countries  they have visited as well as varied venues....Bolivia for example...which countries could they play in the future...love to see Gnr in south Africa, the philippines, or Tha?land. I wonder If We will see Gnr on Mainland China...to..any thoughts anyone..?

I loved Hammerstein. I would love to see another take on those 2006 shows or the club tour from 2012... if that ever happens again The Orpheum Theater in Boston would be great. Pilferk you'd love it, it was opened in 1852 and was the original home for the Boston Symphony Orchestra... it's a great room with a ton of history.

Not sure why MSG is considered so great..Ut hasbeen renovated so many times Ifeel the aura and presence of historical moments are gone.. One thing all these renevatios have consistently done is strip away any intimacy by keeping the crowd AWAY from the performer with a spread  seating...The soon to be demolished neighboring Nassau Colliseum is a much better venue with a more intimate setting..
Great show with Skid Row in June 1991....

I've been there! That would be an awesome choice!

I'm lucky in that we have a fully restored art deco theater near by (the warner theater in torrington, ct). Gnr would never play there....too small of a town...but we've had some cool national level acts play it, just because its such a neat venue.

Any venue that is defined for music is the best

A place a symphony normally plays usually has the best acoustics

I hate seeing a band in a arena/stadium/outdoors

My all time fav venue.   Would be a small 500-1000 capacity bar!

Where the stage is right there.   Bar is right there!   I have been lucky enough to see some great band in venues like this.

Cheap trick, billy idol.  Great shows

Let's go jays!

Best stadium is hands down Madison Square Garden.   I think it is the greatest arena on the plant.

But place place to see GNR?   The Joint in Vegas hands down.

I'll always prefer theater or an amphitheater show over arenas.

I will second Siamese Democracy's pick of the Joint in Vegas.  Loved that place.  When the concert ends the party is just beginning.

Seeing Guns I think my favourite so far was MEN arena, although Liverpool was very similar. In terms of venues I'd love to see Guns in, Leeds has a new arena, its a new fan shaped arena thats supposed to make the band sound better, I've seen Prince and Fleetwood Mac there and the sound is amazing and its a really awesome venue.

I also love Milton Keynes bowl.
