Not sure if this applies to anyone else, but there are some songs out there that are among my favorite songs ever, but for some reason or other, I just never bothered to go deeper into that particular band's or artists' catalogue.  Never bought a single album, not even a greatest hits.  Here's my top 10 of those songs, in random order.  Please share yours!

1.  She Sells Sanctuary --- The Cult

2.  Badlands --- Bruce Springsteen

3.  Unsung --- Helmet

4.  Different Drum --- Linda Ronstadt

5.  Symphony of Destruction --- Megadeath

6.  Spirit of Radio --- Rush (got into them very late in the game; bought a handful of songs on iTunes in recent years)

7.  Rock and Roll --- Velvet Underground

8.  Steppin to the AM --- 3rd Bass

9.  Suddenly Last Summer --- The Motels

10.  Midnight Confessions --- The Grass Roots

Three of my all-time favorite songs are from artists that I indeed own none of their albums:

Alphaville -- Forever Young
Kate Bush -- Running Up That Hill
Blue Oyster Cult -- Don't Fear the Reaper
