I was on the new gnr website and the date of November 8, 2016 was listed as the release date for the stay of execution.  That is the next presidential election,  with the next tour to begin in spring of 2016.  What do you guys think?

Unless it's posted on gunsnroses.com, you should take any release dates with a grain of salt.

Maybe, just maybe, there's something to this.

Haha here we go again, fist time for me feeling like 1/6 of what it was like waiting for Chi Dem early 2000's

This time I'm just hoping for new shows and expecting something new to be played live...

Before i went to sleep, i read this thread.

I had a long dream about stay of execution coming out ala illusions. Stay of execution 1 and 2. Without any promo or announce. Atlas Shrugged wasent on the second album.


Sometimes i wish, that i wouldnt be this obsessed.  Cool

Surely the exact release date wouldn't be published this early even if there was a plan to release around that time. That simply means nothing and guess we'll have to wait and see.

I forgot to add that also releasing a long-awaited album on the day of the presidential election of the Greatest Nation on Earth would be just stupid. The media will concentrate on that. I suppose that this time round they might want to think a bit more about marketing.

Has anyone reached out to anyone in the band to see if that even is a proposed title for a new album? There was tons of talk about Stay of Execution then it just sort of died down...

Howcan it not be anything to suggest it isnt a Guns n Roses release? If Axl fucking Rose has registered it, there is a bloody good chance it is exactly that  smoking
