So glad I caught the Mats live last year, because apparently they're broken up again.

Make of it what you will. Not sure how/if it will impact GN'R.

My guess is since everyone else (sans Axl) is currently busy with their side projects, this has zero impact on Guns.  I was kind of hoping the Mats would take off and Duff would rejoin the fold full time.  Nothing against Tommy, but Axl seemed to take it to another gear when Duff was onstage last year.

The best show of 2014 was with Tommy.

Not a surprise for me.

Which gig was the best last tour? Im interested, you saw them all. (My guess would be 06.06.14 or the one before that)

Side note. Its exactly one year today since the last GN'R show.

Shame that The Replacements are breacking up again. Great band, especially with Josh Freese. They seemed to have great fun.

I saw on Frank Ferrers web site that he has a Tommy Stinson solo gig coming up this summer.

6-6-2014......massive show....Tommy nails You Can't Always Get What You Want....appropriate for the naysayers. hihi

Tommy is a stud....as is Duff. I only want Duff back full time if he comes back with Slash and Izzy....that card needs to be saved.

oh, and thanks Jarmo...you read my mind.

I saw The Replacements on Tuesday at the Roundhouse in London. It was an amazing gig.

It got great reviews - http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/jun/03/the-replacements-review-roundhouse-london-paul-westerberg

Here are a few of my pics-

Paul Westerberg

Tommy "Eugene" Stinson

Josh Freese

sound familiar guys?.....redhead? Guns?....a lot of similarities....Tommy is a stud and only plays with other studs.

"the sight of Westerberg, Stinson and Linehan opening the show with a four-song run harking back to the band?s hardcore beginnings, legs spread wide and guitars slung low, is a thrilling one, and he is engaged with both audience and band throughout.

He saves the heartbreak ? for all the Replacements? reputation as rock?n?roll wildmen, their greatest strength was Westerberg?s lovelorn ballads ? for the end, with a scintillating version of Unsatisfied. ?Look me in the eye and tell me that I?m satisfied,? he yowls. Three thousand people sing back. They sound awfully satisfied. "

I was wondering if I'd spot any GN'R shirts, but I didn't.

Hard to know what Paul meant, they have a documentary in the works and 8 songs recorded. They might be done just with "whoring out" on the festival gigs. He's as elusive as Izzy and Axl when it comes to interviews. Must be a midwest thing.
