I think that we should focus on music videos, album cover, etc.

I agree.  Things that can include the most people.

I don't know how many people collect bootlegs.  I do, but I'm a weirdo.

But we've all seen the videos.

quite agree with the results (even if Coma and Ain't it fun..  no  no)
my suggestions are:
best video
best lyrics
worst from each album

the other choices are a bit too complicated

How is lyrics less complicated than riff, solo, vocal performance?

Yeah, the criteria for a poll must be that most people are familiar with most of the choices in the poll.

When it comes to concerts, I would think most people here have watched Ritz, Paris, Tokyo, Rio, Rock Am Ring, Vegas 12.

Arguably this isn't a selection of their best performances, so I can see that it'll be hard to do a "true" top 3 contest where every concert they've ever done is considered.

If anyone has a suggestion on how to do it, please do share it. Otherwise I think we'll put this one away for the time being.

None of those should be a judgement on how good they are technically. It's all about how you as a listener perceive it.

I could argue that lyrics are harder to judge than music (sound).

I still think "worst 3" ("worst" obviously being relative)  from each album is the best one.

Very interested to see how everyone does that.

Do think we need a ruling though.  No 'My World'.  That's a given a cop out.

One that hasn't been suggested is Drum Skins, and there have been a few, as well as stage set up's

I've added the broader "Tour visual profile". That covers all those things I guess.

Just in preparation for the poll on music videos, where shall we draw the line on what to include?

Shall we include everything, or just the officially released videos, basically WTTV + YCBM (and maybe the Live Era videos)?

Shall we include the likes of KOHD, Bad Apples and Don't Cry (Alt)? What about unreleased videos, It's So Easy and Better?

I think that we use both released and unreleased videos.

Don't know why this one hadn't come up before, but simply "Top 3 GNR albums".

Since there's only 6 studio albums, we can include Live Era and Greatest Hits as well.

Not, really. I would rather put them into the "top 3 album covers".,

They are albums as well. Even if Greatest Hits is likely to place near the bottom of the list, I think it's fair to include it.

Ok, I agree. Would you include the UYI version from 1998 too?

Maybe, not sure. It's the Walmart version of the Illusions right? I don't know if it qualifies as a stand-alone album.

But, I won't protest if people want to include it.

It was primarily sold by Walmart but I wouldn't call it Walmart version.

Anyway here are some informations:

I guess we can include it although there ain't no songs on there that aren't on the original two.

If some people prefer that particular track list, I can see them liking that album more than the other two.
