4.  Voting for the hell of it, because the rules have changed so many times during this round, it can hardly be considered as proper as the former rounds.....lol

Actually the rules hasn't been altered much other than people being allowed to vote twice a day. Since the gap between the minus and plus vote has remained the same, 1 point, it's basically the same as when we started. It can give some small difference in outcome, but that's very minor.

Lesson learned from this round, 30 points at the start are a bit much. But, if we could encourage more people on the forum to vote, it won't take that long.

The gap is NOT the same.  The difference between +1 & -2 is 3, whereas the difference between +2 & -3 is 5....1/3 is 33% and 2/5 is 40%....meaning positive votes are now stronger than before.

The other change is earlier votes cast had different weights than the votes cast after the change.

You're right, the gap is not the same. What I meant was the alteration of total points per vote in the game is the same (-1).

Unless people systematically vote on the exact same songs, the time it takes won't be much different.
