Of course a new album with self written songs would be better but the band has played so many cover songs during the last couple of years that a second cover album would be interesting.

Any opinions on that?

At this point, I hope the next few releases will be all original material.

Some cover songs as b-sides could work though. There are a few of the covers that would be cool to have a studio version of.

Not interested.

Well, interested in the sense I would be interested in anything they put out.

But I would have just about zero fire for the project.

The old band officially released 46 original songs and 16 covers...not a good ratio. No more covers! rant    hihi

Yeah, something like that. The Seeker or The Boys are back in Town as b-side for example.

A cover album is fun as a lark.

But not when you go entire decades between releases.

It would be ok if they mix in some new cover songs into there set list

Get rid of the old and bring in the new.   Would love to hear guns cover some new songs

But

Once there cover material overtakes there actual material.   Wouldn't that just make them a cover band?
